I'd rather we fully raid China and get both Carraso and Gaitan. Then next summer we can sell the likes of Mikhi, Mustafi, Ozil even, to recoup the money.

I read that he was influential in their Sevilla run to the cup. Not sure if it a bollocks comment or not.
He didn't play in the finals.

Sevilla scraped through their group stage by beating Rijeka 1-0 with a Suarez goal. So yeah he was influential ;)

Let’s be brutally honest, IF, a big if, Arnautovic leaves a West Ham side pushing up the Premier League under Pellegrini, playing in front of 66k fans in London to move to some bullshit league in China at 29/30 then it tarnishes everything he’s done in English football.
    /me chuckles

You honestly can’t blame him for wanting to move to a bigger side. He’s earned that.

Ha, interesting to read about the anti Liverpool rhetoric.

I think it may seem like a social media myth as those who cannot stand to see Liverpool win who aren't local rivals or league competitors are just more vocal than the rest. As several commenters in this article say "why so much negativity?"

Also might be something in the sentiment "if Liverpool can win why aren't my club winning" as one of my best mates (arsenal fan) said to me about Leicester's win.

The majority of it comes from people like me, aged 40+ who were bored to tears by the media love in during the 80s and have retained that animosity. It's true that it's easier to swallow when a team like City/Man Utd or Chelsea win it rather than direct financial competitors, but most of it is a deep rooted dislike of Liverpool winning anything. Not really anything to do with the fans, more the expectant reaction in the media.

"We cannot sign permanently. We can only loan players." says Unai Emery in Netflix's latest heartbreaking documentary 'Arsenal 'til I Die'.

Think it's all related to the restrictions on wage growth rather lack of cash, but fuck knows as Kroenke now doesn't need to publish any accounts or hold an AGM etc. Bag o shite.

Thing is about that poll, is that there’s almost certainly been a coordinated campaign to get Liverpool fans to vote for ‘I’m a neutral and want Liverpool to win the league’.

So.....anyone whose transfer fee you can afford would want more wages than you're willing to pay? Good skills.

It's mainly the fans for me. They're appalling.

Not willing, able. Can only increase wage bill by 7m a year if there's no extra commercial revenue. And as we are really really bad at that, we fucked ourselves for one window last summer. Should be better by the summer as we'll lose a number of players off the books.

The very that we’re discussing what it’s like for Liverpool to win the league, when they haven’t won the league, kinda says it all for me.

Thank God Klopp's a serial choker so it won't happen.

BBC Football is full of Liverpool journos. Would you get this shite article for another team?

Also, there's a quote from a Toffee claiming he wants Liverpool to win. That alone tells you what total shit that article is.

Its the fans. I don't really mind the liverpool team and I'd like to see klopp do well at any other team but fucking hell, the fans
This. Up until now the fact that they've had some proper wankers playing for them helped with the disliking. Today that's not the case, but their fans are so unbearable and immoral.

On here only Lion (and Furbs, wherever he went... I miss the banter) are (were) normal.

I guess that proves there is no Liverpool bias at the BBC then.
