He got banned which is a bit weird as he didn't seem to be overly offensive.

This next piece of news is the most Manchester United piece of news you're ever likely to see.

Ole apparently wants rid of Martial because he lacks commitment but the board have denied it because he's viewed by the Glazers as the next Pele.

@Guff-Pipe that was a few dick head fans, the vast majority were booing and jeering. And most that threw bottles threw plastic bottles which would hardly be deemed dangerous.

I can imagine what people would make of the bottle missiles at festivals... Been a while so I assume it still goes on?

Again though that was the players taking the piss out of a fan who had been in a coma for nearly a year...

It depends what Ole's role is at the club. If he's not responsible for recruitment (which seems sensible) then "the board" could be as non-nefarious as their DoF not agreeing with him.

The idea that a manager has full autonomy is crazy

I'm with you, but bare minimum is to put effort in on the pitch. That video of him 'warming up' was pretty damning, as are his performances.

If 2-3 managers can't get him playing because he can't be arsed then thems upstairs should take the advice and get rid

Or, more likely, they (United) don't have that technical role appointed yet and don't want any fucked up short term decisions made by a man who, let's face it, isn't really experienced enough to make them

Isnt it a story that originated in the mirror, which most likely means its bollocks.

Also Griezmann is off to barca for 125 million euros. An attacker is the last thing they need, their defence and midfield are far far weaker.

    @DakeyrasUK
The BBC article says it's unclear weather it even was the players singing, and even if they were I very much doubt they were intentially taking the piss out of a coma victim. Im not saying it's right, it's just a bit rich talking about class when your fans attack coaches and have a pretty poor track record of behaviour in europe.

I'm pretty sure dakeyras wasnt one of the ones throwing bottles and would happily condemn them as well. Because that's what you should do in these situations rather than saying yes but what about them.

But, but, but they do good things for my football team so admitting they are a bunch of ignorant, spiteful fucks isn't in my best interests.

Should probably get some t-shirts done.

You can't blame City for having a sing song, they were in high spirits following a quick stop to piss on the Hillsborough memorial

Interesting trending visualisation of the total points per position each season, which seems to show the top 6 slowly pulling further and further ahead.

In 5 years you can look back at this first page and say, "Ah yes, that was Blackpool's first season in the Premier League... what a bunch of cunts" as we win our 3rd European Cup in a row to add to a hat-trick of league titles.
    Que?

The clear out at United has to be thorough and brutal. From the scouting and backroom personnel, remove remnants from Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho eras. They have collectively contributed to a confusing transfer policy: United have the largest group of flops in the Premier League.

From the team, the following players must be let go or sold on.

David De Gea - Sell if he does not sign a contract by July

Eric Bailly - Sell (error prone)
Phil Jones - Sell (awful player)
Marcos Rojo - Sell (injury prone)
Ashley Young - Sell (good servant but past his best)
    Antonio Valencia - Leaving
Matteo Darmian - Sell (average defender and useless going forwards)

Paul Pogba - Sell (talented but drama queen)
    Jesse Lingard - Sell (lazy)
Ander Herrera - Leaving (good midfielder)
Nemanja Matic - Sell (absolutely crap, does nothing and fails to protect the defence)

Alexis SŠnchez - Sell (all effort and no product)
Romelu Lukaku - Sell (terrible first touch, terrible reading of the play, terrible one-on-one, terrible shooter, terrible, terrible, terrible)

Any team that plays Romelu Lukaku should be deducted 3 points immediately.
