Not Premier League but Joey Barton being charged and going to court for Actual Bodily Harm seems to have slipped under the radar a bit

Ceballos to snub spurs for Arsenal, apparently. Basically because you are shit, he reckons he'll get more playing time with you guys. That's how I read it anyway ;)
Similar thing being reported about Saliba. I reckon it's because you guys have only ever won two league titles and both were before any of us were born and your biggest success in the last 30 years is a league cup and your biggest club legend is Gary Mabbutt and you have a manager who has never won a trophy.;)

No way he keeps his job after that. Nobody in their right mind would have him as manager.

It's not so much he's done it because other footballers have done similar but it's more he's done it as manager, while at work, on an opponent's member of staff, at an away game.

If Fleetwood do keep him they need a fucking good look at themselves.

I'll be honest, I'm feeling like if they could afford to get shot of him then he should/would have gone already.

Those players are too young to remember when Arsenal were good.

Surely they can get rid of him without paying him a penny after this?

I think we all knew there was a Paddy Power PR stunt behind the Huddersfield kit launch, but turns out it's a worthy one.

Not a massive fan of kits without sponsors mind - Holsten! Crown Paints! Hafnia! Sharp! etc

The marketing campaign and the intention behind it are both brilliant.

Im sure it's also no coincidence that the majority of shirt sponsors are currently rival betting firms.

That's a brilliant bit of marketing, more attention on them than 2/3 years on the front of their shirt would ever have brought them.

It also makes me wonder if it's being done in part ahead of any ruling on gambling firms being banned as shirt sponsors etc, which you can't imagine is spectacularly far off. I don't know about football, but Marlboro/Philip Morris still absolutely pay through the nose in F1 to basically own Ferrari's livery rights without directly being able to put their brand on the car. Possibly them keeping ahead of the game too.

Yeah Mission Winnow. When you actually look into it there's no discernible product, just a bunch of marketing jargon and buzzwords. Essentially an excuse to stick hamfisted Marlboro chevrons on the car.

It's been quietly removed now, but it's job done. All it did was make everyone talk about their cigarettes for a while.

I'm currently making the mistake of getting very excited about the rumoured transfer of Reinier Jesus to Everton. We've been linked to about half the professional players in the world this pre-season of course, but this kid just added the club, Bernard, Richarlison, and Mina onto his socials. He's thought to be an absolute top prospect.

It won't happen, but a man can dream

Yeah, not a fan of all the betting companies being on kits, but a kit without a sponsor looks too much like a Sunday league kit.
