Hey, he likes Salah. He even gave him the praise of "being like Dalglish with a sun tan"

Mikhtarian gone to Roma. That was a bit of a surprise to me.

Especially as he played yesterday. Maybe he just wants to leave England.

Hasn't really worked out for him here at all.

Yeah, that was odd. We've been trying to get shot all summer but if a move was imminent, surprised he was in the squad. Probably indicates that Emery has little sight of transfers etc.

It's a consistency thing with him though as he blows hot and cold so much.

Yup. I think he's been OK for us, but the trouble is, the wages he's on should indicate better output and is hampering the rest of squad.

Llorente gone to Napoli. Really do think we should have found a way to re-sign him. Yes heís limited and only useful in certain situations, but heís SO useful in those situations.

Llorente is also exactly the kind of player we need. Such a good option to have in the squad.

    @You-can-call-me-kal

If you call breaking down Arsenal's every attacking move, making the wrong decision every single time and not shooting when 1v1 Vs Lloris then yeah, he was amazing for Tottenham.

You just don't get a lot of space or time in the Premier League, and he seems to need loads of it. He had flashes of brilliance with us too but in games where the intensity is a bit higher and you're pressed a bit quicker, he's unfortunately left sorely lacking.

At least he gave us that goal, which Giroud went and equalled/bettered.

    Ahh the offside scorpion kick.

He was magic in the Europa League the season we won it. Not a coincidence that his best performances were against middling European opposition.

So he would have been amazing in the final last season!

    Still grumpy about Sunday.

Was a great atmosphere at least for a change.

Considering Poch is the best manager in the world and Spuds are streets ahead I wouldn't get too glum chum :)

Emery still unbeaten in the NLD, which is nice.

Did anyone catch Souness' comments about Moise Kean over the weekend? He essentially completely fabricated a scenario where Juventus got rid of him because he was a problem player, and not because of FFP, as was actually the case. He even threw in an Adebayor reference for good measure.

If they are insistent on keeping the dinosaur on, the least they could do is send him on some sort of diversity training, because there's a clear pattern emerging around these 'lazy' tirades he keeps going on.
The worst thing about Souness is even if he was finally let go for being the obnoxiously casual-racist that he is, he'd just end up at TalkSport anyways, with the rest of them.

That Keane incident is utterly shocking, and he keeps sticking to his clearly racial stereotypes. Won't be surprised if for the next game to balance is last comments, he praises Keane for being "powerful" and "athletic" but probably "not too smart.

He never got space in Germany either. Back when it was known for its pressing. He's had one great season in his career. This is just his actual level.

I see the International break kicked off in the most exciting possible way. Alan Shearer and Michael Owen twitter beef.

My impression of Michael Owen is he's that kid at school with Short Person Syndrome who thinks he's better than everyone else and is quite happy to relate that.

    You know, like kalel.
