Think thatís very harsh. We played very entertaining but leaky football for the first five fixtures or so. In trying to fix the leaks the entertainment has dried up but the football was far from bad yesterday. Realistically until heís had a summer I donít think any real judgment can be made on what type of football heís playing at Spurs.

This should have been a red for Robertson. Wasnít even a foul.

Atkinson is an absolutely terrible referee. Iím usually the one defending refs on here but he is an absolute joke.

He knew what he was doing by staying on the ground and rolling around a bit.

The moment Robertson wins the ball.

The young lad put himself in a bad position.

Seems reds given for them, agreed, but can also see what the (terrible) ref was thinking on this one.

Thereís no debate he made contact with the ball, but it doesnít matter. Itís classic lose the ball, dive in dangerously to get it back. Itís a foul without any question whatsoever, a clear yellow and by the letter of the law a red.

Ref didnít even give a foul.

What the letter of the law that says it should be a red?

Lineker last night said for him it isn't even a foul. I can see it both ways. He won the ball, catching the player was just part of the game. When slowed down the side of his foot hits the shin, not studs up over the ball so not sure why it is supposed to be red.

@You-can-call-me-kal Said the same at the time. He's a dirty cunt as are one or two others. They get away with it so they'll carry on. Instead let's just turn a blind eye and swoon at how what such a wonderful team they are and help them on their way to break whatever meaningless record they're up for this week.

I heard a stat the other day about long balls since Jose took over, I can't remember it exactly but effectively it was spurs playing over 60 long balls in every game since he's been in charge and never under poch.

It's only going to get worse once these players have forgotten all the good stuff Poch taught them. Enjoy!

We are being much more direct but itís hardly lumping it up to Fellaini style. It says more about Poch than it does about Jose.

I can understand the glee in now getting to be on the other end of the Mourinho trolling but youíve gone too big too early.

Did you all see him trying to do that selfie at HT, coming out of the tunnel?

    Funny.

    The letter of the law:
If an offence involves contact it is penalised by a direct free kick or penalty kick.
Careless is when a player shows a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or acts without precaution. No disciplinary sanction is needed
Reckless is when a player acts with disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent and must be cautioned
Using excessive force is when a player exceeds the necessary use of force and endangers the safety of an opponent and must be sent off.

No way should Robertson's challenge be considered excessive force - would be the final nail in the coffin of sliding tackles. Can see an argument for both careless and reckless.

For those that like a flutter, loads of potential for yellows in this game.

The other one does have a bit of skill to be fair but that's to be expected with not being Scottish .

Robertson can definitely be a shithouse, but as he plays for us I kinda like it.

With good reason. He has been terrible. Smith should not have put him in.

It doesn't look good, a couple of things on the break but El Ghazi and Grealish against 6 players are not really going to do a lot.

Easily said now but to put Drinkwater in when heís barely played football in years, against City, is absolute madness, especially to start him. Will have wreaked his confidence.
