It's not unfair to claim Weaver is literally to thank for where City are today.

At least two players with the same nationality there, although I think it's 4.

And missing Kieth Curle. Arguably Cityís greatest ever player.

Not PL, but the FA have decided how to handle non-league, women's and grassroots games:

    http://www.thefa.com/news/2020/mar/26/national-league-system-womens-football-pyramid-grassroots-covid-19-update-260320

Null and void for steps 3-6. National league undecided

I think I had to make do with listening to this on the radio, back in the day. One of my favourite England games after:

    1) Holland, 1996
    2) Argentina, 2005
    3) Germany, 2001

You'd might like a Euro '96 rerun then:

Regardless of what happens, I just hope history remembers this was a completely legit title win for Liverpool, even if even their most ardent fans would privately admit it "doesn't really count"

I think we all hope and pray for that outcome. It doesnít even matter that they were shitting the bed for the previous 6 weeks prior to the virus hitting and were looking candidates for the biggest choke in the history of sport. For me they should be given the title now even if they didnít actually close the title out this time.

I think continuing on instead of the new season is the best option. Scraping would be a huge loss.

They should 'give' it to Liverpool. I want their first title since the 70/80s glory days to be completely tainted forever. It'll always have a black mark against it. Glorious.

The leagues kind of have to agree the best way forward otherwise European competition will be fucked next year too. I'm glad it's not my job to work this shit out as it must be headache inducing.

Yep. It's a total cluster fuck and no easy solution. Someone is always going to be severely pissed off and will threaten legal action.

I think eventually they'll just go with voiding the whole season. It just seems like there are too many complications that go with not doing it. The FA mnetioning that there will be "difficult" decisions ahead seems hint at this.

The reality of the situation is that we'd be very lucky to kick off next season without any interruption, nevermind finish this one. Sucks for any teams who were in favourable positions in any of the leagues across Europe, but it's over and it's gonna be the same for everyone.

I'd be all in favour of voiding next season completely and just making sure this one is finished properly, but then, since there are only 10 or so games left, it would mean another few months without football until the 21/22 season starts. Not to mention the issue of TV companies losing out on the football they've already paid to broadcast.

I guess the best way would be to change the European football calendar for the next couple of years so that it aligns with the 2022 WC, and then hopefully put things back to normal after that.

Who could ever truly be invested in a season again knowing precedent has been set for it meaning nothing.
lol. Behave yourself. Liverpool fans of course would be whining that tune for decades to come but everyone else would crack on as normal.

This will all be decided by lawyers and for that reason voiding across the board is the most likely consequence as all contracts will have a Ďforce majeureí clause, and it will be the simplest (and potentially only, or they create precedent for exception) solution to impose it on everything.

My 2p is whatever else happens itís common sense that an exception should be made for Liverpool who should be given the title even if everything is void. But if that didnít happen Iím sure I could soldier and on and somehow enjoy football again. One day.
