@THFourteen I switched from BT to Plusnet for home internet and now get access to BTSport via phone app and then cast it to TV via Chromecast. £5 a month. If you only want to see the odd live match then it was a lot cheaper than full fat option. Not sure if there are other ways to get this option.
Don't think I can get plusnet here, I'm currently on Virgin but could get BT Fibre too I think. Will look into it, need to reduce the bills.

Thing is virgin has been rock solid internet wise for me and I don't really want to rock the boat as we are super reliant on it at the moment for work and kids

Bet365 are steaming Bundesliga on their website, no idea what you have to do to qualify though.

@tadejpogacar not sure if it depends upon your area and contention but plusnet hasnít skipped a beat for us since we took it on in December. 3 xboxes often all online/downloading together, Disney+, Amazon, Netflix and freebie streaming.

Still using the BT hub though as WiFi is better.

@barchetta yeah the wifi on the plusnet router has been seriously woeful. cannot even use iOS devices in the house. didn't know you can use the BT router - might have to look into that

I eventually found out my plusnet issues were down to the plusnet DNS.

Found websites really patchy to load, but with a definite pattern of it being certain websites, and despite being able to stream high quality video for hours on end with no disruption. Changed the DNS to cloudflare or Google and everything solved. Friends and family (other side of the country) have had exactly the same problem and solution.

@tadejpogacar since plusnet is part of BT it was pretty straightforward. Once in the router management I could change account and password to my Plusnet credentials and that was it.

@barchetta yup easy peasy - already a marked improvement in the back of the house (though that may just be down to lack of contention at this time in the morning). need to try my iOS devices next

Urgh, no. When I read earlier it was about for contravening lockdown reasons because he had a visitor.

Yeah thatís good. Particularly like the bit about binary extreme points of view. That whole thing is really wearing me down right now. Itís keeping me out of the cv thread.

You donít end up under arrest and your visitor in hospital unless something is up, surely?

Got an email from United saying no chance on matches being played this season in front of fans so they will refund or discount next seasons ticket accordingly.

    Not a surprise.

You can't however buy your ST for next year as their website is terrible. Absolutely shocking. I wanted to pay for it today and I can't.

Considering no one has any idea of when they'll resume fans coming back then it's no surprise they aren't selling season tickets..

Can't get behind a restart while things are still so shit in real life. Those German games were more haunting than entertaining.

I sell some of the games on my 2 STs via the club, and then use the funds to offset the ST cost. I am slightly nervous about that, I have to admit. Esp as one of them is a mate's and I have no idea if he even has access to his account!
