We wore it in the final game though?
Did we? Haha, I didn't see it and haven't caught up with any highlights. Either way, I'd prefer this season's shirt to be worn. It's a belter that deserves to be in a Final imo

Arsenal offered chance to sign Philippe Coutinho for just £9million in Barcelona player swap deal
One option that has been presented is that Barcelona take French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi and a notional fee, while Coutinho goes to Arsenal on a permanent deal
If he wants to come that is lol...

I thought they'd rejected Guendouzi. Last I saw on Twatter was that we're being offered Countinho for £9m for a one-year loan, Barca pay half his wages.

I think they'd take £9m, plus a potential future financial asset in Guendouzi (ssshhh, stop giggling) to get rid of his wages. They really need to cut costs.

It was Ath Madrid that laughed at us trying to palm Guendouzi off on to them for Partey.

Perhaps I'm turning into my dad, but the pricing of the new shirts for the 'big 6' clubs is mind blowing.

The Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool 'stadium' replica shirts cost £70, and are a simplified version of the match 'vapor/elite' shirts ("as worn by the players"), which cost £100. Man City and Arsenal take a similar approach, and no doubt the new United kit will be the most expensive.

From what I can see every other Premeir League club sells a single shirt at £50 to £65. Which still seems steep.

    WTF.

Saw a breakdown of the City one with name and badges costing £130, mental stuff.

Yeah the price of shirts is ridiculous. I usually get shirts which are a season or more behind. Sometimes for as low as £20.

Just encourages using the Chinese knock-off route (which these days are really close to the real thing).

Just checked Villa's shirts and its £57 for a normal shirt and £90 for a pro one. Why anyone would buy a pro shirt? No one wants to see your rolls.

Why would a grown man buy any replica shirt

There was someone in amongst Prince Will's fancy looking FA Cup watch party wearing a Pulisic 22 jersey which amused me.

I pretty much use replica shirts solely for when playing football.

I love my replica shirts. Been wearing them a lot in lockdown. They make me feel normal.

Same. The fabric of the pro versions is really nice for exercising too. I tend to buy a season or two out of date. Prices are a joke though.

Eddie Howe has left Bournemouth. Proper end of an era that. Hard to imagine they’ll do as well without him. Hope he goes onto bigger things and doesn’t become another great English hope.

Great story. I grew up hearing about the cherries almost oblivion during the 90s, so have a soft spot for them as their rise was similar to Albion's, in some respects.

That’s a shame, I thought he might give it a season to see if he could get them back up.

He failed spectacularly at Burnley because he was so ingrained in the way Bournemouth was setup so I wouldn't think he's going to be an instant bounce back.

Having said that, we should definitely sack Lambert and ask him if he wants to join a shit team without any ambition

I could see Howe ending up at Palace. It would of course mean that Palace sack poor ol Roy but I wouldn't be surprised.

Nah, he stayed too long for another premier league job. They conceded over sixty goals a season, every season which shows that he just doesn’t learn.

That said, I could see a mid-tier championship team looking to kick in giving him a chance. Maybe even a few weeks at Watford.

Yeah Watford did seem like the kind of team that would look at Howe. He should have cashed in all that God will a season or two ago, probably.

He'll struggle to move on, definitely and I dare say he'll probably have a few shit jobs to work out what his strengths are.

Absolutely should not take another EPL job though. He needs somewhere that he's got freedom to make mistakes and relearn. I'd say the Bristol job is probs right for him but it's likely fans won't take well to it.

Huddersfield, maybe, but the way they binned off the Cowleys tells you a lot.

Watford fans are keen on him joining. Especially as he grew up as a Watford fan, growing up in Amersham.

Could well be, as he moved away when young. Watford was his first games seen in person though.

He's an Everton fan, but apparently never attended a game, just fell for us in the 80s like a lot of us idiots.

I can imagine him in the West Ham job - only a matter of time before that mob decide Moyes is still too sure and steady for their liking and implode again.
