I thought James was ok. At least he has a run at people and has a go. There's a really good player in there. Ideally we would have loaned him out last season after we purchased, but we needed players.

We've played ok, Newcastle have had a few good chances too. Defence still looks completely out of shape. The own goal we got dragged from one side to the other and Shaw boots it into his own net.

I don't mind playing Fred and McTominay. They were both solid last season and Pogba and Matic have been pretty rank this season so far.

But you have Dawson on the bench. What a waste.

@reddevil93 well, hope my first surgeon isnít still plying his butchery. Repair failed after a few years and I had another scan and the 2nd specialist asked if he could use the imagery in a seminar as it was clear to him it was only ever a matter of when it would fail, not if. He did the repair and that is still stable after 14 years. Think he may have helped Robert Pires too.

Actually watched my 2nd op live under epidural... quite a thing to see your hamstring getting harvested for use as a surrogate ACL and watching them drilling my knee like some DIY project.

Damn, that is rough. Glad you were able to get someone good second time round. I still remember the sound of my Dadís snapping as he was playing handball. Nasty, nasty injury.

There was a thing in The Athletic the other day that pointed out that when the ref goes to his screen thereís 100% record of the original decision being overturned.

    Get in.

2 nice goals. I don't think we've been that great but compared to the spurs game we look solid.

Nice to get a set piece goal too, we don't get many these days. De Gea with 2 really good saves too.

Easily our best performance this season having been so lucky against Brighton.

Good confidence booster but we've got 5-6 really tough games in a row. Huge for Ole.

That -4 GD could be pivotal in the fight for top half.

Newcastle were truly dreadful so while I enjoyed the last ten minutes you can't say that was anything more than solid despite the scoreline.

I do love VDB he just keeps the ball moving so quickly. We need to get him in the starting 11. I'm still baffled he wasn't today.

Hopefully we can keep our 100% record tomorrow, but I think we'll lose.

Thought we played nice stuff at times, moved the ball really nicely. Could have seen us not scoring at one point as we just couldn't find a way to make a great chance. Then they all came at once.

We were certainly the better team but Newcastle were very poor. They sat back from minute 1 and invited us on.

Surprised that closer analysis of the "25%" TV revenue numbers behind Project Big Picture add up to the big boys keeping more and the EFL getting screwed...

When are people going to realise itís not those in the advantaged/powerful/majority position that get to define what is and isnít toxic behaviour? Itís kind of amazing particularly in the middle of the BLM movement to still not get this. Iím sick of it.

Might be wrong but I seem to remember Pep having his own little creepy moment.

Oh shit! I had a treble yesterday on Chelsea, City and United wins. Assumed I hadnít won so didnít even check my account but seems Bet365 pay out early when a team goes 2-0 up. So I won!
