Current governemnt advice is if you can't work from home you can go to work. Obviously, football continues within that remit so unless policy changes I think it is reasonable for it to continue. Players are still safer than everyone else thanks to their testing regime.

If they can't keep the players or staff safe then of course things change, but I'm not sure if we're at that point yet, although I'd agree we are getting close. It seems like many of positive cases can be traced to players no adhering to covid rules. If anything the surprise for me was just how well the covid protocols have worked in sport. It's honestly amazing how few major outbreaks there have been. It seems likely that complacency was already creeping in and then the new strain has added further pressure to the system.

Well, not all, because elite sport has its own set of guidelines.

Theyíve officially switched our fixture with Villa for the fixture we should have had with Fulham a few weeks back.

Absolutely the right thing to do, but I can understand why Fulham arenít happy about it.

Just been reading about the Covid shitshow at Celtic - if there's one thing Scottish football didn't need is its (second) top team behaving like rank amateurs and acting like they knew best. Glad it's come back to bite them hard - what a shambles.

It's fantastic watching the elite* few break the rules over and over and over again.

Any games they play over their period of isolation should just be declared walkovers tbh.

*Forgot for a second they were a pub team. Carry on.

Brady should be off here surely if Shaws tackle isn't deemed a foul.

Shaw did a similar tackle to March against Villa and that got overturned on review.

Wow that header from Maguire being chalked off is barmy. It's basically what 9 out of 10 Burnley goals are.... Didn't even have his hands on him... Burnley player sold it pretty well.

If I heard Neville saying Shaw didn't get the ball one more time I was going to track him down and kill him.

Expected match, Burnley just playing for free kicks to lump in. The Brady/Shaw thing was probably the correct decision in the end. Didn't think Shaw did much wrong and the Burnley player wasn't even hurt, but the so called 'fair tackle' is out of the game these days.

Proper performance that. The better side and probably should have taken a couple of other chances, not to mention the ludicrously disallowed goal.

Very pleasing though in that it really felt like a solid performance with bailly and maguire a great pairing. Chuffed with that.

Yea, very good win that. Burnley are so tough to break down.

Hopefully that's Lindelof relegated to dead rubber cup matches from now on.

Six months ago today, Wolves thrashed Everton at Molineux and we stumbled towards the end of the season in the bottom half of the table.

Tonight we have more wins than Liverpool.

    Decent.

TBH I can't see it being long now until they are all vaccinated. Even if it costs private 10K a pop, that is nothing compared to how much the players are earning.
