Reports of enough damage that the match might not go ahead. Good job, lads. Nice one.

Would be some enjoyable irony in these inbred fucks forcing the game off, it being forfeit and City winning the title today because of the assist.

This Newcastle game has been pointless but at least a bit of perspective. We might be shit, but at least we're not managed by Steve Bruce (right now).

Iím all for as much disruption as possible. Ultimately thatís the only way anything will change. Hurt them in the TV pocket.

In one hand, what a bunch of stupid fucks.

On the other, it's hard not to think good on them.

Bit of a stupid time to get sent off in a game that's done.

But you've got to ask yourself; could Paul Pogba have done more to stop the fans breaking into the stadium and wrecking stuff?

    How?

Not being facetious but a few people yelling outside the stadium before a match is soon forgotten.

This has consequences. Yes itís illegal, yes itís wrong but equally it will not be as quickly forgotten.

How many of the people who made it onto the pitch were planning to when they left the house this morning? No-one anywhere is deciding to fundamentally alter how football operates because a few fans saw the opportunity to be a bit naughty.

What were their aims? They wanted the Glazers out - great, surely the protest outside sent that message? Has 200 fans invading the pitch (and doing little of note else) really moved the needle to that end?

Getting the match delayed or cancelled surely has a much bigger impact than fans protesting outside.

The only way to make any changes to football is to effect the money, and that includes disrupting Sky/Bt coverage.

I'm not doubting that the only way out of this is to hit invested parties financially. Ultimately though, minimal disruption to TV coverage is going to have minimal effect. You want to make real mark? make it so there was no chance of the game going ahead any time soon (or the next one) - give the club a headache, give the PL something to think about.

Yeah itís a start. One match. Then two. Then three.

It would be much easier if fans were allowed in the stadiums and there is no covid.

I mean sky are scrambling to fill this airtime now.

Whatís the end game though? Even if they could get today called off the next game would be so locked down and that nobody will be able to get anywhere near the stadium.

    Ffs...

All bias aside, the United x Liverpool game should be postponed until such a time that VVD is back and fully up to speed!

The end game is simply to have enough people take notice that change happens. Itís the same reason that people protest against anything.

    Job done.

Just needs the next set of fans to do the same and things would snowball.

Won't happen, but nice to think it will.

How are Sky framing it now their cash cow is more secure than a few weeks ago? Haven't had it on.

We arenít talking about an elected official or anything like that though. United are a publicly traded company. Messing with Sky and BT isnít going to get rid of the Glazers.

Iím not pretending to have the answers I just donít see how the Glazers give up such a cash cow as United.

In the short term, I would say force clubs to make a visible decision about how to handle fan protests as well as get people to boycott the games shown on TV.

Long-term, get fans to boycott live games.
