Its been well documented that at the Ps3 version of Oblivion at release was the graphically and technically superior of the console versions. However I read some where that Bethesda claimed that the graphical updates of the Ps3 version would eventually make over to the 360. Did these graphical updates ever come to pass? If so did they bring the 360 version up to the Ps3 version's visuals? |
Oblivion (360) on par after updates?

Registered 16 years agoI thought the 360 version was very slightly better at release ? Seem to recall the ps3 port being a bit choppy, could be wrong tho. -
Some of the graphical differences were carried over but I think the PS3 version might've benefited from not being rushed out quite so much.
In other words: close but the PS3 version (probably) still edges it. I think. -

Oblivion was a great game, I completed the PS3 version and it was seriously choppy especially the final part of the main quest but apparently the 360 version is as well. I did read the graphical updates/bug fixes were patched to the 360 version.
