I'm sure we've done this before, it looks like I've also got less authoritarian as I've got older, which I didn't expect. Anyway, my results. -

Here's mine. I lean towards the Tories in real life - that is since they're more extreme views have been moderated by a lot of new blood in recent years and especially since the election. I also favour the LibCon pact as a way of Liberal Democrat limiting any reversion to socially backwards policy and excessive deregulation.
I think one reason many of us are in the green is that we're British... I think your average American (even a Democrat) would push far more towards the right on both scales. Let's face it, even the Tories are no more right wing than the Democrats themselves. -

Again, not a surprise. More tempered libaralism than some, less fascist than most. -
I don't think many commies subscribe to the philosophy of ayn rand do they? -

As much as it pains me to agree with a self-confessed Tory, I think you're spot on here! Some of the questions seemed pretty absurd to me, particularly the ones about race and about sexuality, but the US is very different to us on those issues. -

Me. I would've thought that my dot would be further down, not sure why it isn't. I think the test could do with some updating - editing some of the leading questions, adding new ones to replace some of the silly ones, etc. -

Funnily enough I'm Left/Libertarian.
As expected. -

Isn't this the site where everyone always just ends up in the green section? -
Abstract art that doesn't represent anything shouldn't be considered art at all.

I make Ghandi look authoritarian apparently and end up pretty close to the Dalai Lama
I was expecting to be where Jose Zapatero is but ended up a bit left and very Anarchaic. Maybe it is because I hate religion and think homosexuality is fine. Not sure why either of these areas are even considered in a political arguement?
Edit: Pretty close to mowgli too -

And eventually, as I said, the aim is to have a single chart, with everyone plotted on it, which will make it easier to see how you relate to other people.
Why? We're not machines damn it! -

We're individuals. Not like the rest of the sheep, clustered together in their field of green grass.
Or something. :/
I must say, it's good that they're all clustered together and easily identifiable. -

I wish just once I could fill in a questionaire that wasn't full of loaded questions, double negatives and 2 in 1 questions.

Registered 13 years agoRight. Collated everyone so far on this thread.
Now to collated the other threads!
I may not collate responses prior to the General Election (or older than six months), though it may be interesting to see if there has been any significant drift in people's leanings since the coalition came into power. -
Ah, I see you've grabbed mine (matron!). -
I had to have a go as well. Pretty much what I expected.
