So defining yourself through nationality is just hunky dory, nothing bad happens and everthing is all gravy? I can't think of anyone who who defined themselves through nationality to do horrible things or persecuted anyone because of their national identity. Just man up and say you're an Islamaphobe, I'd have far more respect for you. There's nothing worse than a racist with stage fright.
I'm not sure I need the respect you're offering me. For me it is cultural identities that are more important than national ones. As a European traveller, I find their cultures remarkably similar to British culture. They have certain identity traits that define them (or not for the Belgians) that signify their diversity. But language barriers are not much of an issue in Europe and most other places in the world because longstanding resident (is that better than indigenous?) civilised populations behave socially in very similar ways without the influence of dogma.

We have also won wars to stave off fascism through our perseverance and national identity. Are you saying there has not been persecution and bloodshed on account of religious identity? If we must split society by identity, cultural identity is far more inclusive than religion or colour. After all, a British identity is culturally not to different to a Western/first world cultural identity.

I'm not sure I understand what Islamophobia means.

The SNP are a bunch of nationalistic idiots... Just like the BNP... Who cares what they do? They had their chance and failed.
You really are a Grade A mouth breathing idiot, aren't you.

The inability or unwillingness to debate is indicative.

Should the BBC get jailed for this?:

I didn't march to free the grooming gangs. I marched to free the man who has been highlighting this awful depravity, where according to the Rotherham enquiry, police, social workers and council workers were complicit in covering it up for decades. I march to free him because he get's imprisoned for highlighting it.

It doesn't help. Why do you think the grooming trial had legal reporting restrictions? The IPSO doc only seems to relate to a case having some of its information restricted, rather than the entire case.

Where did I say that? I only cited the Rotherham Enquiry and linked to a government report, but I guess that's probably racist to you.

Imagine if a rich, powerful and largely white organisation organised a coverup of child abuse on a worldwide scale. That seems more worthwhile of your scorn than a single town.

Unless this is actually about something else of course.

    Bravely bold Sir Tommy
    Rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die,
    Oh brave Sir Tommy.
He was not at all afraid
To be killed in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Tommy...

If you add Leeds and Telford to the map below, you'll begin to see the true scale of offence. If you read "Easy Meat", the scale of it might be shocking.
