Anyone ever used a Nyko charge station for the Wii remotes? Or have any experience of other charge stations? I'm thinking of getting one as they're pretty cheap at the mo on amazon (£12.99 for the Nyko one, which seems to get the best reviews). Main thing I'm worried about is that you do hear the odd story of such charging stations frying Wii remotes, plus the manual says not to use rechargeable batteries. So is it completely safe to use them? |

Registered 16 years agoSafe? Well I never had any issue with mine. I had one of those. It's fine, and I never had difficulty using it. It'd get a 4/5 star rating for me, because the connector on one of my twin docks was a little fussy, but it did the job well, and ofc, you'd no longer need to replace the batteries. -
OK cool thanks, I think for £12.99 it might be worth getting - I'm sure that's cheaper than the amount I'd spend on batteries otherwise. How long does the charge last approx? I guess it depends on what game you play but does it give as much charge as, say, a decent couple of non-rechargeable AAs each time?
