This has to go to the EG masses. Flightrisker asked in the Premier League thread because of something in Mark Kermode's podcast.

I've only ever seen "dilemma" while Lionheart has only ever seen "dilemna". It's already been proven that "dilemma" is correct, but I'm curious to see who else knows it as "dilemna". Is it a regional thing?

Quick google suggests the "dilemna" spelling is down to an old textbook misprinting.

I always listen to the Kermode podcast. Informative, entertaining and piss funny. That debate will go on for ages.

It's Dilemma. The only regional element would be if there was a region of stupid people.

    Norfolk perhaps..

    random choice btw

I would have put money on it having an "n" in it. "mm" doesn't look right. Are you sure you aren't all wrong? I'm going to ask Stuart Campbell, he'll know.

Erm, no. When you pronounce it, does it have an "n" in it?

To spell it Dilemna you'd have to be A) massively massively massively thick and B) probably a bit bent
