    Together with Final Fantasy Tactics

Ooh, it's a DS-style version, nice. Although I'm more excited by FF Tactics personally.

Glol. It's crazy to think that Apple are one set of plug in plastic buttons and dpad away from completely dominating the handheld market. Very few systems are able to attract the biggest devs to the smallest indies like these idevices.

So it's going to be an improved version of the DS game. Better graphics hopefully, but otherwise the DS one was rather tedious innit?

Really did not like FFIII on the DS. Hopefully tactics will do well as I would love to see Nippon Ichi port a few of their games to the iphone.

I’ve been playing this on the ipad. Having lots of fun with it.

One question. I kind of messed up in a dungeon type area and had two characters die with no phoenix downs to resurrect them. I’ve pushed on through the rest of the dungeon with my remaining two, and am doing fine, but I’m a bit concerned on how much XP the two deadies have missed out on.

I’m a bit of a FF noob so is this par for the course, or will I really regret this? Also is there any other way to resurrect them?

Best you can do is head out to a town and heal up, I think, the only other way to resurrect are a couple of v. Rare items and high-level magic. The deadites will catch up soon enough- in 10 levels time, what is a huge xp gap now will be the same as what you get in one battle then, and they will be the same level. Seeing as you won't beat the boss with two anyway, best fall back for the moment.

Thanks. So, we're talking about doing some grinding yeah?

Also, excuse the stupidity, but what can I do in town to heal up? If I sleep at the inn it doesn't resurrect the dead ones, and I don't seem able to buy phoenix downs anywhere (yet).

Crikey- it's been so long since I played this!

Hmm, there should be some well springs somewhere, certainly one in every dungeon. Look for things that look like fountains, if you pass one when all are still alive, it says 'nothing happens', or at least it does on the DS one.

    Does that ring a bell?

You get the white magic spell 'raise' later on, and the towns don't sell phoenix downs till very late too.

Yikes, almost forgot this was sitting on my iPhone, untouched since I bought it. Lol

Might have to set aside some time at the weekend now, crack this bad boy open at last.
    (If I even remember!)

Been a while since I played it on NDS.
