@SonShine Maybe if the petition is successful, they can then create more petitions to dictate how the story should go...

"Sign petition 'Dead Snow' to have Jon die in Season 8".

"Sign petition 'Dead Snow but at the End' to have Jon die in the last episode of Season 8."

"Sign petition 'Dead Snow Inside' to have Jon Snow give Ghost a proper hug."

There's a Black Mirror episode in here somewhere.

It's one thing to criticize, but to say "we don't like it, do another" is just silly.

Lots of people sign a petition
    Lots of cunts.

The salty water is the tears of those who signed the petition. Much salt there.

It's "TLJ raped my childhood with it's brown people and female characters" levels of sad.

We need to very quickly start a petition that anyone who sighed the remake petition caught watching the final episode is to be sentenced to have their penis cut off.

Iím looking forward to Monday, when all this will have settled down and weíll look back over the last 8 seasons with a sense of satisfaction and many happy memories.

Either that, or itís going to be like the start of Scanners with heads exploding left right and centre due to the impotent rage.

Can we start a survey for Davos and Tormund to settle down together? They both need a hug.

I feel like we need a petition 'to shoot people who make pointless petitions out of a cannon into the moon so we can have fewer petitions petition but also can we fire grammar nazi's into the sun as an add on to make this petition the best petition ever'

I watched the whole first few seasons again a few months ago and the writing wasn't exactly brilliant then, the exposition (particularly Littlefinger explaining things in excruciating detail to other characters) is crashingly jarring
I'm starting rewatching and I think I'm going to disagree. The kids acting even from the start is much better than I remember, the pacing is spot on nd it's just quality. I do think Sean bean and the guy who plays Robert Baratheon gave it the strongest imaginable kick starts though.

Just watched it now as I've been away. Yep. Been pretty successful in avoiding anything about. Its Been refreshing missing the kneckbeard wailing. What's the general consensus then, worst thing that's ever happened? I see there's petition.

I think the rough consensus is that it's the best episode of the season. Still riddled with shortcutted bollix, still an enjoyable watch.

    Is that the rough consensus?

I'm even more contrarian than I realised, I thought the season wasn't that bad but that the last episode was just awful, and one of, if not the, worst episode in the entire run :p

Yeah I thought the rough consensus was that it's marmite, with a significant minority in the middle that neither loved nor hated it and are still undecided and a bit unsettled by the whole thing

But what's the consensus on marmite? Marmite is shit.

Either way I look forward to Decks insulting people when it's all over.

Faaaaaakin hell that was a juicy one. Enjoyed it all immensely apart from the white horse. Fucking Cleganebowl, man.that shot of Sandor looking up at them with a fire breathing dragon going past was fucking brilliant.

Watched it on the iPad with some headphones right up. The sound direction was absolutely stellar.

So many great shots too. Been watching this since late 2011 so to see kings la ding get fucking decimated was really quite haunting.
