    You forgot The Shield.
The Shield's ending may be the best of any TV show I've watched.

I just learned that YouTube quality is much better than Now TV quality and it makes me sad.

    Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran) said:

“The fact that people are getting pissed off and having a big emotional response? That's the reason why Game of Thrones is successful. It doesn't do what everyone wants them to do. I saw today there's a petition to redo the ending…

It's just absurd. I can't even fathom it. It's just ridiculous. (Laughs.) It's ridiculous that people think they can just demand a different ending because they don't like it. I have stupidly taken it quite personally, which obviously I shouldn't. In my opinion, it's a great ending. I think it's that this is a character everyone loves. Dany is a brilliant character who has done so many fabulous things and saved so many people. People have complained there wasn't enough foreshadowing of that. But time upon time, she's demonstrated a capacity to be quite brutal. She's waited years and years to get over to Westeros and take what is hers. She's been delayed. She's had to fight an army of literal dead people. She nearly died. She's lost Jorah (Iain Glen), Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and now the person she's deeply in love with isn't comfortable with her and he threatens the claim she's had for years. She's sick of it. She's pissed off and she's lost her mind. I don't think it's some plot twist to be shocking for the sake of shocking. I think it's a genuine character development.”

I liked the endings to both Breaking Bad and Mad Men.

But, and this is what all these people critiquing the writers don't mention, the old 'person wakes up from coma and can't remember what happened' trope is used. If the writers had used this in the Seasons seven or eight they would have been lambasted.
I was thinking about this. Tyri on, who seemed to have deduced what happened, in one episode seems to find it interesting Bran can't remember. Is it totally implausible that a clever ten year old would see the ramifications and keep his mouth shut accordingly.

@convz She is actually a creepy weirdo. I just watched the episode where she eats a full raw heart without throwing up and chooses to watch her all be it abusive brother die by gold. People fell in love with her probably because of the Boudica like similarities. But I bet Boudica was not quite right either.

I personally can't wait for the fully crowd funded remake with Tyrion played by wee jimmy Kranky and the hound by danny dyer.

Enjoyed it but still full of problems. Like the idea of Dragon lady losing it but it's been a bit poorly done - too sudden and quite sexist... "I need a man and if he won't sleep with me then I'll kill everyone."

Uh, is this the only episode you've ever watched, and are you specifically looking for an 'ism' to find fault with? Because if you're looking to get offended by GoT there are far easier ways to do it.

Ok, but it's not an episode of Friends, you've just ignored 8 years of history to make a point about sexism that isn't even accurate.

It was because she felt no one loved her. She felt distant from her army, her people and now Jon. It wasn't because she "needed a man".

But it wasn't about having a quick shag or 'needing a man' - she's an unhinged maniac descended from a long line of unhinged maniacs and he was the last person left who she actually trusted and kept her sane. He betrayed that trust by telling his fellow Starks his real identity. She wanted to sleep with him not because she's a pathetic damsel but because he invalidates her claim to the throne, which has been her entire reason for being since the first episode, and had he gone through with it, she could have kept him in check.

We have seen her react the same way before. This time she was sat on a dragon.

I sometimes wonder if I've been watching a different show because, far from being sudden, I've watched eight series of her throwing pouty tantrums.

I think it’s an illuminating example of how people are so good at transposing their own selves on to other people and then judging that character’s choices through that lens.

As in so many wanted Danny to be the queen in shimmering armor that they just flat out fucking ignored all she did that flew in opposition to that.

By the time she goes full mentalist they say it happened too suddenly because Danny wasn’t the character written by the writers and portrayed by the actor, but a construct of that viewer’s own mind.

People will ignore a lot of a person's character flaws if they want to have sex with that person.
