| EA make that? Thought they just published it to be honest, I stand corrected. |
The Wii is "history" says EA. • Page 2

I bet Nintendo are weeping into their money swimming pool at this news...

Visceral = EA Redwood Shores, 100% owned and operated by EA.
Tbf, it's a total in-house EA project, from start-to-finish. -
Ah, there you go, so EA still make shit.
And a few great but massively flawed sports games of course. -

Registered 17 years agoNintendo always seen to do the unexpected. So how about a new console with graphics which blow away the 360 and PS3 and an all new non-motion controller? -
A 3 year old PC? -

The lens flare of gaming, I like that.

The decline of the Wii will mean one good thing: the 1st/2nd party game prices will FINALLY drop to bargain prices. -

Try buying a GC copy of Twilight Princess for less than £30 -

Wii may be on it's way out but Donkey Kong Country Returns is fucking ace, only tards are missing it..
Along with BIT.TRIP Flux, GoldenEye, Hydroventure and Kirby Epic Yarn!
The less said about Epic Mickey and Metroid: Other M though, the better... -
Nintendo should be abit more creative then adding waggle to a basically 2 gamecubes ducktaped together.
I can't believe the GC console flopped yet add GC waggle version and sells millions. go figure 0_o -

They only produced 20 GC copies as opposed to 50 million Wii copies ;o) -

Wii was required for the GC waggle version to succeed, as motion controls of course originally planned to GC but the install base could never justify the cost of launching a separate peripheral.

GC waggle version is a bit harsh though as the majority of GC games were far superior to the Wii games ;o) -

I haven't heard the expression "2 gamecubes ducktaped together" round these parts for a good 18 months. Excellent work TheDriffter, excellent work indeed. -

Registered 15 years agoI hope and pray that they announce a Wii 2 soon with:
1. HD.
2. BC.
3. Trophy/Achievement support.
4. (Optional) Improved wiimote. -
1-3 don't matter that much
4. is already out
It's third party support it needs, which I suppose will tie into 1. -

Registered 17 years agoHD support not so much for SUPER GRAPHICS but so that it's not upscaling a shitty res picture to the resolution of most folks' TVs.
A normal pad 'cos the Wiimote is fucking stupid. One that doesn't have to plug into a sodding Wiimote. -

Registered 15 years ago@ecosse: Why no chance Trophy/Achievements? I know that they said that, but it doesn't mean it wouldn't be a big mistake not to have some analogue of that system on Wii 2.
I feel strongly about that one. -
Achievement support was in metroid wasn't it. -

Registered 14 years agoThe wii has been dead for over a year now, Move and Kinect were the final nails in it's coffin. If they don't announce a new machine at E3 we know Shigsy and co have lost the plot. -

I'm pretty sure it would have some form of trophy support. Even if it just takes the form of badges or something. They need to sort online out though. I'm not even a big online gamer but with the exception of Mario Kart it was just terrible. -

A myriad of experiences where I can get together with my family and we can really dance together and lose weight.
Magical low def times.
