Your loss. I thought it was great. Mexico wasn’t quite up to the same level but still very watchable.

I wasn't in to the Cali Cartel in the same way so never finished it. Need to get round to Mexico too.

Watching Prison Break and have finished series 1&2 over the last month or so, just watched the last episode of series 2 just now

It’s incredibly infuriating as it’s quite mostly enjoyable but total trash TV at the same time. Teetering on the edge in terms of abandoning it after the first two seasons

    6 out of 10
I stopped after a couple of eps of s2. It was so obvious it was meant as a one-off and a 13-ep at that. And then there was SUCCESS so there had to be MORE.

    Time

Sean Bean is a drunk driver who kills a man and goes to jail, Stephen Graham is the prison officer.

Obviously, there’s a LOT more to it than that…..but the acting on display here is fucking sublime.

Bean is probably the best he’s ever been and Graham is excellent as usual.

Worth watching just for those two.

    9/10
I've already recommended Time once, but if you're after a new series, forget everything else... this is it.

I was on board just for Sean Bean, and I completely agree, this is one of his best performances, but Stephen Graham was just brilliant. In fact, everyone in it was brilliant and totally believable.

I was just so glad I'd found a series that felt worthwhile, after finishing good things like Better Call Saul, Haunting of Hill House / Bly Manor, and Cobra Kai months ago.

Blacklist. Damn this show has more plot twists than everything I ever watched. It's so intense.

    Time

Can only repeat what everyone else has said. This was brilliant. Sad, stressful, but brilliant.

At only three episodes I blew through the whole thing in one sitting and wonder if it could also be edited into a lengthy film.

Would love to see Stephen Graham do an Olivia Colman and win an Academy Award some day. He definitely deserves one.

    10/10

Yep, just finished it tonight as well and I'd give it 9/10.

Stephen Graham was as great as always but Sean Bean stole the show for me.

    Time - 10/10

Jesus. Incredible. So, so, bleak ;_;. Seen Been the best he's ever been and Graham was also top tier. Deserves to clean up all the awards.

    Mare of Easttown
Your bog standard crime drama. Ticks all the boxes, depressed detective, who drinks a bit too much, and is struggling with family life, can't solve a case, is handed state backup, "I don't need an outsider", tight knit community. OMG is it the GARDENER? style episode endings.

But really good. Except maybe it helps itself a few too many times from the misery buffet. As in "Why do these people even bother getting up?".

A few heart wrenching moments. Superbly acted, and not too many well known faces.

    For fans of the genre

What was the point of showing Gunther for 2 seconds.

Matthew Perry still looks like he has issues.
James Michael Tyler (Gunther) announced today he has stage 4 cancer in his bones and can’t walk, which I guess explains why he did a brief video cameo instead of appearing on set.

    Handmaid's Tale - Season 4

The best one since Season 1, full of plot holes but went in an interesting direction with a satisfying conclusion.

    Rita is still lovely.

It’s always sunny in Philadelphia - All 14 seasons

I am furious……FURIOUS…..that no one recommended this to me sooner.

Obviously, I’ve been aware of the show for the last 14 years, but for some reason just never got around to it.

This is EXACTLY my brand of comedy and I absolutely adore the show. There are literally a handful of weak episodes and the rest are absolute comedy gold IMO.

The chemistry of the cast, the writing, the supporting characters (The McPoyles, Uncle Jack, Mrs Mac, Cricket) are just sublime.

Also, Dennis Reynolds……just absolutely perfect. I was shocked to learn that Glenn Howerton has never won anything for this role.

Officially now my no.1 favourite comedy of all time.

    10/10

Iirc they did an episode at some point making fun of how they hadn't won any awards.

Tbh I can see why that is. The show is comedy gold, but the characters in it are such sociopathic monsters that it would be hard to imagine the actors being rewarded (at least not any mainstream awards) for playing them. I mean, Dennis is an aspiring date rapist/serial killer, at the very least.

If you need to fill the hole it's left then AP Bio is worth a look. It's on Sky / NowTV.

Watched a few episodes . Didn't much like it.
Tried far too hard and having zero empathy for anyone is a bit of a stickler.
I think we're supposed to like them despite being revolting and well..I didn't.

I have spells of enjoying Always Sunny, but always have to to take breaks after a while. Can only watch so much of them screaming at each other over and over. Charlie Day is especially annoying.

Often hilarious though for sure. Dennis and Dee definitely the best characters.

    Clarksons farm 7/10

I enjoyed it as an insight into farming life in this country and the incredible hardships they face.

    After Life (series 1)

It's not funny enough to be a comedy and not poignant enough to be a drama. Feels like the further Ricky Gervais gets from Stephen Merchant, the shitter he is.

I respect him a lot for what he did but he just writes the same shite now. Derek was a decent step in a different direction but this is just naff. Tries too hard to be edgy and emotional.

Best joke was when he asks the shop girl where the dog food is.

    4/10
