Nah, I will just enjoy it, plenty more episodes to go with which to prove my ignorance :)

Yeah, they pulled that outta their ass, nowhere near my guess.

    Overall great, terrific performances throughout.

    HBO worthy

There were some clues but then absolutely everyone had things pointing to them.

    Deadwood S2

Keeps getting better and better, I could sit and watch them call eachother cocksuckers all day. Sets up season 3 nicely and I hope the cancellation isn't to jarring even with the film out now.

    10/10

I expected to enjoy this more, especially as I quite like the character, but it just didn't grab me - which was a shame. It's far from bad, but it all feels a bit low key.

    6/10
    6 out of 10?

Snow piercer S1 : way different/better to what I was expecting, with the investigation etc, although I kind of wonder if the status quo could have become a longer feature and it not have to try and have the big conflict in the first season.

    8/10
    Are you trolling?

Loki S1 was arguably great, Snow Piercer was borderline unwatchable shite from start to finish.

I thought it was a solid 7.5, maybe an 8 once I saw that it has a season 2 coming. Otherwise the ending would have been deeply unsatisfying.

Err - that's two different people you're quoting...

And for another 6/10 we have Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. It's ok, looks great in places and complete gash in others. Voice acting is also all over the place. Story isn't too bad, although it does get a bit batshit towards the end, but that's to be expected./

Six is probably fair for Loki. Itís above average, the ending was a bit chod but it was fine overall.

RE:ID wasnít even a TV show, tbh. Itís a 3 from me, m8s.

Iíd love to see the wave of zombie rats from RE ID in one of their games. That was a cool addition to the BOW canon and could be creepy or panicky as hell in the right setting

    Boston Legal series 2.

Love this show, Shatner is hilarious. Picked up all 5 seasons on Prime for £5 a pop which seemed like a bargain.

    Denny Crane/10

Loved this when I saw ages ago. Shatner is in his element and James Spader is amazing as Alan Shore

I quoted the wrong post, I meant to get your ambassador review. You have the weirdest taste if you think resident anything is a 6/10.

On Becoming a God in Central Florida

Kirsten Dunst gets involved with a cult-like pyramid scheme in early 90s Florida. It feels like it shouldíve been a movie rather than a tv show but its still a good watch. Some excellent moments along the way if a little inconsistent in tone. One for fans of the Fargo tv show.

    7.5/10

Tried Motherland. Think it only works if you're a parent/ don't actively hate the thought of being a parent.

I am only just realising. (Also not the first time I have been confused by two forumites having the same first word as their names).

Yeah Iíd agree with that. The weakest series (2 ) is when it tries to be more about the adults and less about parenting too.

I preferred S2 to S3. It's kind of ran out of steam a bit I think but has its moments and truisms as parents.

    Succession S1

Had to watch it, on account of people going on about it in here.

It's good! I don't know why I gravitate towards shows that are about complete psychopaths, but here we are. The dynamic reminds me a bit of It's Always Sunny, in that you can see how the kids got so screwed up by having an absolute monster as their father.

It's tough to know who to root for (aside from Greg, bless him), but that's never been a huge issue for me. Onward to season 2!

I haven't finished S1 of Ted Lasso yet (7 down, 3 to go) but wanted to share how excellent it is, it's the loveliest, most endearing sitcom which manages not to be too cheesy or annoying. Great stuff.

First episode airs this Friday, on a weekly schedule (which is both a good and a bad thing in my opinion).

Why do they have to do this shit?
With Netflix along came flexibility and freedom to binge, now they have to be cunts about it all.

I would assume in Apple's case it's at least in part because TV+ has very little content, so they want to be able to spread it out.
