    Ragnorok

A teen drama with a young lad developing Thor like powers. It's a bit rough around the edges, but I really enjoyed this right up until the end, where it just finishes. There's some resolution, but still many questions. Still, it was fun enough that hope for a second season.

    Mr Robot S1. 3/10

I know the forum loves it, and we're going to give S2 a chance, but really this is all over the place.

    The Deuce S3 10/10

I love this programme, and S3 is touching and emotional and a great way to end.

BoJack Horseman season whatever the last one is

So, so good. There are 11 months to go but I'll be surprised if this isn't my show of the year.

Agreed that season 1 is the best season of Mr Robot, so you can probably safely ditch it now. Although, season 2 is quite different (albeit much worse) so I guess there's a chance you'd like the changes since season 1 did so little for you.

Itís a series that I donít want to watch again, just in case it holds up badly. I remember it so fondly, I donít want to ruin it.

This. I really enjoyed that and was sad there was no more.

I also have the fear that it may have aged badly though.

    Snowfall season 3
Absolutely excellent once again 10/10. The only omission was that Emily Rios was not in it, her character is badass.

Please watch this series, all 3 seasons are on iPlayer, it is just so good. Set in the early 80's about the drugs (specifically Rock) explosion in the US, throw in politics, Contra, CIA, DEA for good measure.

Had never heard of it, just watched season 1 trailer, looks great! Thanks for the tip :)

I really loved season 1, but season 2 was horrible for me and I stopped watching it. If you though S1 was all over the place, good luck with S2.

The lead character, Franklin, is played by a guy from Hammersmith. You wouldn't know.

It's a good show. Watched all 3 seasons last year.

Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez

I was completely unaware of this story, so the first couple of episodes were frankly extraordinary - real "life is a stranger than fiction" vibes.

However, by the third and final episode, I started to question the angle the film-makers were taking with it. So many strands were part-explored with no conclusion, it started to feel like the only purpose was to shock rather than truly explore the motives and circumstances around the case.

There's no denying it's a compelling watch, but left me feeling hollow and exploited by the end.

@simpleexplodingmaybe And has Stephen Moyer (with the 90siest haircut evar) who went on to be a career vampire in True Blood.

I watched this again about five years ago and still enjoyed it, I don't think British TV production values have improved all that much in the years since it was made, so it appears less dated than it should!

Shame it never got a second series: it had an interesting take, at the time, which has admittedly become a bit more old hat since.

I actually rewatched all of True Blood and recently finished it. It's pretty good trashy HBO TV, with crazy characters and crazy stuff going on throughout. I think it's actually decent the whole way through too, doesn't drop off a cliff last season like something like Dexter, even though Bill's ending is shit. If you like OTT gore, tits and mens bums then it's a must watch.

Yeah they had a thing for throwing in big time jumps, and you were like how the fuck did this happen?! It probably got too crazy and weird from the point where Bill became god. I still enjoyed watching Erik rip everyone's heart and head off though.

Finished the Good Place. Was nice, stronger at the start when they had whole episodes exploring philosophical questions and low-key helping educate the general viewer on Philosophy (like a beginner's intro)

Then it got mostly drama-y which is fine cause I was with the characters along the way.

    All six episodes here

Aside from not being HD and the fashions it holds up really well. Jack Davenport and Idris Elba havenít really aged since.

The Good Place. Sad to see it end and I did find the last episode really sad and wished they'd just brought it back to the very first episode. I felt like starting S1 E1 straight away again. Loved the series aside from Derrick who I didn't find funny. Thought this series was pretty good. Not as good as the first but better than the third.

    Bojack

Binge watched the last 8 episodes. Have to admit the closing moments of the last one just tore my heart out. I feel the same way about the series ending as if someone just broke up with me.

I donít know if there will ever be a series as perfect as Bojack Horseman.

    100.

    Castle rock s1

Well this flew under the radar for me. Tv series based on stephen king universe. Cross between dark, and 1963. World is entirely set in his maine universe. He exec produced. Not horror, more tale if the weird/slipstream.

Was actually very decent, not just as a stephen king style tale but also as a higher brow tv series

And there is a season 2 - anthology type show
