Small Business - Do I Have To Fill In A Census?

    I got a census form through to my shop that said 'household census' on it so I just binned it, now they are pestering me to return it, do small businesses need to fill these things in ?

    Cant seem to find any info

    Is your business address also residential?

    If no one lives there then occupants = 0. Should take you 2 minutes.

    No but is a flat above which is nothing to do with me but doesnt seem to be registered as a seperate residence, the landlord is a cowboy

    Oh. Either go with zero or palm it off on the landlord then if it has nothing to do with you.

    Hello,

    (my brother works in ONS so may be able to give you some advice)
    Basically all you need to do is phone up the Cencus hotline and tell them that you're a commercial address, not a household address. You could also mention to them that there is a flat above the business but you are not the resident or landlord.
