Registered 18 years agoI just called SG, those orders in dispatch are ones they are "aiming" to dispatch today. WTF. I have a feeling im gonna have to go buy a copy tommorow e-tailers suck. -

Had a Halo dream alst night. All I did was repeatedly fire the Battle Rifle. Then turned up the bass on teh sub-woofer and did it again...
Odd.
The Battle Rifle might even surpass the AR from AvP2. Using that gun never got old. -

Registered 19 years agoThe MP5 in CS hasn't had the draw since they killed it's power, the KMP is more inviting. Give me Op Flash's silenced MP5 any day though.
The real appeal of Halo's Assault Rifle though is the effect it had on the enemy. The way they reeled and the splurting blood. Makes it more satisfying when they do that, just like in Goldeneye64 and the FRD team's subsequent projects. -

I've just been in Game and they had 9 copies sitting on the counter teasing me but the brstrds wouldn't sell me one. Wish I'd spent some more time begging now knowing that it's unlikely I'll get my copy tomorrow

Amazon have just despatched mine - delivery estimate 11/12 Nov, which is cool as I ain't gonna be able to play it until Fri night.
Managed to remember to get proper delivery, not the "super saver"/snail mail -

Registered 18 years agoI've got mine 'in dispatch' from Simply Games, and I hope they don't let me down again. I didn't get my GTA: SA until the tuesday after release... If this is late as well, I shall not be buying from them again.
I had ordered stuff from Amazon and Play in past and had better service.
When I called SG they just said, "well If it doesn't turn up by Friday (week after release!!) give us a call"... Errr Shhhhyeah I'll wait a week for GTA: SA???
Anyway, not going to bash them until they fug it up again... If they fug it up... Which I hope they don't.

Registered 18 years agoFingers crossed Pinchy! I think it's going to be a great game, the intro was pretty good I thought. The dual wielding thing felt a little like RF2 but seemed to work very well with 2 triggers. Roll on 5.30. I want to go home now! -

exact same thing happened to me with GTA:SA from them. and like u say, if they mess this one up too I shall not be buying from them again. -
