I'm getting worried now - my SG order still says "in Progress" might have to cancel and get mine from Tesco or someplace open at midnight - even if it means paying a little more

Not wanting to flame this thread, but, thank god for GTA: SA, it has got me so hooked that... Dare I say it... Halo 2 will be sat on the shelf for a few weeks me thinks due to my obsessive compulsive playing of GTA! Therefore my painful experience of having to hunt down a copy of GTA cos I wanted to play it a.s.a.p. after it came out, will not be an issue with Halo 2!! The LE Halo 2 tin can make my coffee table look cool for a while longer!

This sucks, why couldn't they have had a simultaneous release worldwide? I've just stupidly signed myself up with Bungie.net so that I can look at the present stats from those lucky enough to have a copy - it's making me well up not being able to play the bloody thing

Why cancel? The release date isn't 'till thursday anyway, so it'll dispatch tomorrow. People are getting too used to Simply disptaching early, whereas this time they've probably been told not to send 'em.

I'd cancel because I wouldn't trust the good old RM to get it to me next day if it dispatched tomorrow - therefore I'd be better off queueing up somewhere tomorrow night and getting it rather than risk not having it thursday night because the misses is out and I'll have my TV and the MC all to myself

For folk who pre order from Play. If it says posted in the morning, will it arrive the next morning or will it take two days ?

I have never pre ordered from Play. Just wondering if it really does take two days or more.

Play are in Jersey - their orders generally take a couple/three days to arrive after despatch, in my experience.

5 days to a week if you're on mainland Europe, like me. Probably get it by next Monday. Not to bothered with that, it was cheaper then buying it in the shops here.

Not wanting to build up anyones hopes up, but previously I've ordered an item from play in the morning and got it the next morning... But my post delivers late, at about 11:30

As I said, I've always ended up waiting with Play - so generally I don't bother ordering games for delivery on day of release with them.

You could always do the GAME 10 day return thing - though whether anyone would actually believe you were genuinely dissatisfied with Halo 2 is another matter . . . . .
