With Miike at the helm it will end up been the most fucked up murder mystery ever.

The murder weapon is likely to be a poisoned blow dart fired 'descreatly' by a Thai stripper.

japanese cinema and miike in general will go all out for the wacky meaning the film will suck, anybody whos seen the dead rising remake will see how nuts they went with a pretty straightforward plot.
it'd be better handled as a anime movie or short series

Miike can film in whatever style he needs to, he's a pretty top-end director by this point.

The only jarring thing about that picture for me is how Japanese he looks. Manga-style characters always look caucasian to me.
