Atlus have announced Devil Survivor 2, coming to the DS in 2012! \o/

I loved the first game, so this is great news from E3 for me.

The blurb in the email I got says it's coming out on the DS, but doesn't mention 3DS, which is slightly strange considering the first game is getting re-released on the 3DS soon. Suits me though, as I'm still using my DS Lite.

Hopefully it will get a European release, but I wouldn't put money on it. I imported the first game, so I may have to do that again.

Oh yes I'm pleased to be able to say that Devil Survivor 2 will be released by us (Ghostlight) in Europe alongside Devil Survivor Overclocked. No news on a release date yet (beyond later this year) but there will be a Collector's Edition.

I would have loved to have bought a UK edition of DS2, but the first one became so expensive at one point (prior to a reprint, I think) that I ordered the US version of DS2 as soon it became available.

Still, it's great that you're bringing them over, fantastic games.

There are definitely a few 3DS games that need bringing over here so I'm thrilled that Ghostlight have taken up the challenge.

Pretty positive and I love that they ended with:
'But despite how much we enjoyed the game we implore you not to buy it. Or at least not yet. Since Ghostlight are going to be publishing it over here we're sure genre fans will appreciate the need to support them, especially as the 3DS is not region free and this will be the only way to play Overclocked on UK hardware.'

I ordered this through Amazon in April and forgot all about it. It's just dropped through my letterbox.

I thought it was released a few months back. Either I'm going mad (likely) or that's slow delivery.

There's hope for a Western release of Break Record (see here). Not that anyone thought it wouldn't be coming, though, I suppose.

When Ghostlight announced that they'd need pre-orders to guarantee the release, I just assumed Amazon wouldn't be getting it at all and then forgot about the pre-order. It seems Amazon didn't forget, they were just... biding their time..? I don't know.
