Registered 14 years agoSo the latest Kickstarter project is a new Shadowrun RPG then.
I find the idea behind Kickstarter hugely inspiring; I just hope that it's not abused by any (or many) meaning that people get put off from contributing.
People need to be careful in understanding what they're getting for their contributions as well.
I like it, but the cynical/sceptical side of me is cautious.
Having said that, if they started one for Shenmue 3 I'd be all over it!!! -

Registered 15 years agoJust went on a pledging spree and backed shadowrun, starlight inception and wasteland 2. Really hope starlight inception starts to pick up pace. -
This looks cool, it's a customisable watch using an e-ink display. It can connect to your phone and be used for all sorts of stuff.
Can't say I like the idea of having to recharge my watch though.

Registered 14 years agoWow, that looks amazing!
*converts price into sterling*
Ok, maybe not that amazing. -
About £80, that's not unreasonable for a high end watch. -

Hitler reacts to all those Kickstarter campaigns!
Personally, I'm very much looking forward to Wasteland 2, and backing anything Jane produces.

Registered 20 years agoThe promising UFO: Enemy Unknown remake (or rather reimagining, setting the game in the 1980s) Xenonauts is now on Kickstarter.
I guess they'll easily make their modest 50k USD goal, especially since they already have nearly 10k USD with 32 days to go.

10m now and every reward pledge where you get something is sold out. This seems like the kind of thing that probably didn't need to go on Kickstarter.

Registered 17 years agoJust wanted to point out this cute little Kickstarter project:
A Pokemon styled MMO with robots: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gamundo/panzer-pets-customizable-robots-mmo/comments
Team behind it has some talent and the art is made by a former RARE artist.
I backed it with some moola at least.
P.S. So what is the correct Kickstarter thread this one or the gaming one? So confused!

Another watch that connects with your mobile, not as fancy as the pebble but a bit more subtle.

The video for that one is very good. It looks like it won't have any trouble getting funded. -
