First two missions done, both brilliant stuff. Shame that it killjoys you on mission three by having a level from the main game! First mission worth 800 on its own though. |

Registered 14 years agoSo far started on the main game, Im on the second level and trying for a clean hands ghost playthrough first. Finding it a bit of chore not knowing if ive had any kills or stats going through the level. wish there was a stats menu. if I get to the end and have to replay im going to be annoyed. Pondering whether to just stuff the achievements and start stabbing fuck out of people. -

Registered 10 years agoI definitely recommend not trying to do clean hands or ghost first time. So much of what is good about this game is the ways that you can kill and that. High chaos is sooooo much fun.
I really feel that so many people have missed out by going for those achievements on their first run. Also on your second run you're going to have an idea of where routes are and enemies etc. -

Registered 16 years agoJust finished my first run of the Knife of Dunwall (expert difficulty, Ghost and no kills).
I enjoyed it a lot and stealthing around that last bit on expert was a really tough challenge.
But time to replay as Daud proper, ruthless and killing anyone who gets in his way

Registered 15 years agoI'm sure there will be more DLC. What I'm wondering about is the Whisper Ways achievement/trophy. Apparently, in the main game, if you miss ghost you have to replay the game. I didn't have to test the theory. How about in the DLC? Can anyone confirm if I can just replay a level and get Whisper Ways? Mission 2 was a bollox. I've done it a couple of times now, and I don't think I get detected, but I don't get ghost. -

Registered 15 years agoDoes any of the DLC allow you to replay levels with any combination of powers you want? It annoyed me that replaying a level meant I had to use what I did in the main playthrough. -
Looks like the next DLC is out today... The Brigmore Witches, 800MSP -
Interesting, there is although 7 pounds gone as the first was excellent. -
Not played the other DLC yet... Was waiting on this and was going to do them in one go. Kept this pretty quiet, I had no idea it was out today.

First one was brilliant except it pissed me off as one of the three levels was a level from main game, sadly one of the three levels on this is a re run again. However the two other levels on the first were excellent and apparently the two new levels on this new one are brilliant. -
Don't mind a retread of a level so much if enough has been altered but if it's basically the same again with a slightly different load-out it'll be a bit poo. 4 superb new levels over the 2 DLC's will make it more than worth while I suppose!
Better put Dark Souls down and get stuck into this... -
Do it, mission one on the last dlc was so sweet. Dauds powers were a nice change to. -

Registered 11 years agoJust got this on PC, does look pretty in places. Probably wait for another steam sale and check out the DLC prices. -
@Choppi I was very stealthy with corvo. May go the other way with daud and just kill everyone. -
It is one of the games of the generation and easily goty last year.
Yeah Daud is fun to be violent with.
Ive purchased the new one but can't play for a couple of days. -

From what I read, the re-tread in this is a substantial expansion on what you saw in the main game. It's set in the same location, but it's much, much larger this time round and deals with the consequences of Corvo's actions in that level from the main game.

Registered 11 years agoI d/l it on steam and it doesn't recognise my PS2 pad with a converter
I don't like the 360 pad so I don't fancy paying £20 for the windows contrioller.
Anyone know of a pad with good analogue sticks and triggers for Dishonored and some racing games? -

What I mean is I've played through on 360 and I bought the game and DLC cheap on the PC but can't figure out how to play Knife. The trials are in the missions menu, but no sign of Knife
No but I would recommend it. -
Tom on xbox you goto missions and then tab right to access new dlc.
Duff you need the full game, both story dlc are three missions in length and each mission is of the size and quality of the main game. In fact one of the first dlc levels and the mission I'm currently on rate as some of the best levels.
