Camera Cleaning

Sooo I was changing the lenses on my Nikon D5000 recently and left the body down stupidly without a cap.

The youngest decided to check out the camera body and spotted the mirror and decided to see what it felt like so I now have a paw mark on the mirror that's quite annoying when using the view finder.

Question is how do I clean the damned thing? What's safe. I know these are quite sensitive to certain chemicals.

    What can I use safely?

Bath full of acid usually works, no idea about the camera though.

The mirror isn't too bad its the sensor behind that is super sensitive. A bit of alcohol carefully wiped over the mirror with a lint free cloth should do it fine i would of though. Well thats what i would do. :)
