Just to be clear I mean rare as in hard to find or valuable, not Rare the developer. I think the only truly rare title that I own is Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn. I just had a look on ebay, and a few days ago a used copy of it was sold for 120. The average for it seems to be around 100. I personally wouldn't sell my copy of it though unless I was desparate for the cash. I also have Tales of Symphonia for the GC. I would class that as rare as it sells for around 40 used, which is much higher than all my other GC games. For comparison, used copies of Metroid Prime and Eternal Darkness are only worth around 5. Not much else stands out as being rare in my collection.

What rare titles do you guys own? Also do you keep up with how much they are worth?

Does Skies of Arcadia on the dreamcast count as rare? I know it's valuable atleast.

I also own Shining Force and Splatter House 2 on the megadrive which I think are valuable.

Final Fantasy VI - IX on Playstation, the Zelda Compilation disk for GameCube and Tales of Vesperia for 360.

I'm not sure if these are particularly rare but they're more valuable than most games on the systems.

I also own Panzer Dragoon Saga. My mate found it sitting lonely in the then near dead Saturn section in Electronic Boutique for about 15 quid and tried to get them to reserve it for me. He knew I was already hooked on the game thanks to the free 1st disk given away on Sega Saturn Magazine. The guy working there discouraged him from bothering as he thought no one would buy it before I got there, thankfully for me he was right.

I don't think I have anything else close to being considered rare.

@supercool Ikaruga yeh it's rare and expensive, like most of the top cube games.

I own Zelda Twilight Princess for Gamecube I guess it's pretty Rare, also Paper Mario The thousand year door.

    Chrono Trigger cart on SNES
Final Fantasy VI cart on SNES
    Megaman X cart for SNES

Dreamcast stuff, including Samba. I have an original release copy of Ico, but it wasn't the cardboard case, and seems to be missing the art cards, so its indistinguishable from the re-release as far as I know. Also SotC, but I didn't think that was rare. I probably own a few other rare games, but I don't really know of any other rare games apart from Radiant Silvergun and PDS (neither of which I own).

Edit: I own quite a few Cube games. Ikaruga, Paper Mario (wish I owned the N64 original, although at least I got to play that thanks to a generous forumite), PN03, Killer 7. Everything else is either super-common or just plain poor I guess though.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain for PC. Big box version, and it's still sealed. Got many other old PC titles as well, some of those still go for a fair bit.

Gamecube version of Twin Snakes also.

ICO - original cardboard sleeve with artcards.
A couple of SNES games still in shrinkwrap - Perfect Dark and Majora's Mask.
Several others still in shrinkwrap, but I can't remember what. Definitely a couple of Pokemons for Gameboy.
MGS 3, signed by Hideo Kojima and the guy who did the artwork.
    Tempest & AvP for Jaguar.

    That's about it I think.

I sold a few relatively valuable games when I stopped collecting completely. Nothing really special though, I think FF7 and 8 PC versions netted like 50-60 or so each at the time.

Now the "rarest" game I have would be Mother 3. Since the missus finished it, it'll end on ebay at some point.

I think I paid that for FF7 with a free PS1, two controllers and a dozen other games a few years back. Didn't realise it fetched anything much.

    Edit: Not PC versions though.

I have Radiant Silvergun and Battle Garegga on the Saturn, both with spinecard. I have boxed and complete PAL copies Conker's Bad Fur Day and Banjo Tooie for the N64.

I have a boxed Neo Geo AES with several complete Japanese games including Real Bout Fatal Fury Special, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, The Last Blade, King of Fighters 2002 and King of Fighters '98.

The jewel in the crown of my entire collection is The Last Blade 2 for the AES.

Rarest game I have is Bangai-O for the N64. It was a Japan only N64 game made by Treasure - Im told that only 10,000 were ever made.

Is there a website (other than ebay) that tells you the going rate for various games, especially borked PAL versions? I always assumed all my old games were pretty much worthless, but you're all listing games I've got as being rare.
