Registered 17 years agoSurely you'd have to be a waiter to take hors d'oeuvres? Not that there are many waiters in the army, or many occasions for cooks to make hors d'oeuvres. Perhaps a steward in an officers' mess?
the setup doesn't really work, is what I am saying, and the payoff is a pun that is pretty poor without being bad enough to be enjoyable for its badness. -
