Registered 13 years agoIt's a great show, but some of the challenges are just insane. This one looked especially painful. -

Registered 17 years agoHas anyone else found that they can't just have a normal burger these days without adding a ton of shit you probably would have happily done without a couple of years back?
I just made a burger. I toasted the buns, fried off the burgers (two big flat homemade 1/4 pounders) and layered them up with strong cheddar and mozzerella, crispy bacon, jalapeneos, fried onions, mustard, relish and pepper mayo. I even steamed the burger under a wok lid for a minute to make the cheese extar melty.
I miss the simple days but fuck me that was a tasty burger. -

Registered 15 years agoI'm a simple man who likes simple things. I'd rather have a well-seasoned, plain burger with a couple toppings that's cooked perfectly than a burger with a bunch of crap on it. I'm all about getting the most out of my meat.
If I have a piece of meat that's unsavory -- like, say, a tough cut of steak -- then I'll load it up with toppings as a disguise. -

Registered 16 years agoMy wife's a bit obsessed with this - this and Ace of Cakes.
I liked the one with the place where you could ask the waitresses to throw darts at a board and whatever sections they landed on determined what toppings they put on your burger. -

No way I'd be eating Firebrand chili, suicide hot wings, hellfire sushi or anything that stupidly hot. But I'd happily have a go at eating a burger the size of my head

Registered 15 years agoI'd just go to these places to get a good meal. I don't see how making yourself sick would end up as an enjoyable experience.

Look at what happens when you don't eat 20lbs of food in a single sitting. -
Good. I was worried this was bumped because he died.
