Registered 16 years agoIt seems the small bug from the previous app has come back where your session times out. If the app is already loaded and you go back to it you can view everything apart from 'my interesting' or created posts. No amount of swapping between sections or categories will cause a login.
I had to exit the app to force a new session. Is there a trick of function to manually force a new session?
It happens with the newest version of the app on both my nexus 4 &7 -

When reading through a thread, pressing next to go to the final page seems to always put me at the bottom post, rather than the top. Only does the for the last page. -

Registered 7 years agoDoes the new app no longer show what category each article is in? When looking at the Persona 4 review on the old app, it show Xbox 360 and PS3 at the top. I can't see this on the new app.
Other than that, I like the new app. Looks really nice although there are a few things I'd need to get used to. Nice work freakybun! -

Registered 15 years agoSo I'm going to put this up on the play store this weekend.
V3.04 will fix the login session timeout problems, add platforms to the reviews etc.
Cheers for helping me iron out the kinks.
On another note, I guess that EG ad today explains why I'm not getting any reply from them about API questions, hope they fill the role soon!

Registered 7 years agoYeah just noticed the update when the icon had mysteriously disappeared from my homescreen. The new version easily surpasses the mobile site in my opinion- amazing work Freaky! Like others have said, this seriously deserves some sort of financial reward, where can I send my money? -

Im sorry to say the new release doesn't work to well for me (Experia J), problem is when it logs me out, going to settings and OKing the password doesn't work anymore, I have to restart the app to log back in :/ -
Oh, and when I make a new post it doesn't then appear in the thread, I have to refresh the screen for it to appear. -

You shouldnt see an empty forum except maybe my interesting which I noticed was appearing even when you're not logged in. Must fix that. -

Registered 11 years agoI've noticed the app doesn't retain your logged in status, ie: the Pencil icon disappears from the top right. You have to fully close the app and re-open for it to log you back in. I think this is when you leave a wifi zone and come back to it. -
Freaky, I will tell you what would be awesome for this new version. An option to move the toolbar and banner from the top to the bottom. I'm using an HTC one and one handed operation is currently awkward as hell as it's just too far for the thumb to reach up to hit refresh or to hit the EG logo for the menu.
Possible? -
