| I'm not sure you can call him an underrated comedy legend when he's been loudly applauded for his excellent role on well known, critically-lauded, comedy series 30 Rock. |

Registered 12 years agoI meant in the UK. I'm one of about 10 people over here that watch 30 Rock - I've got a Tracy bobblehead (to go with our Dwight bobblehead)

Registered 18 years agoI can see the C4 pitch - take people with cleaning OCD, dump them in the house of people who've literally never cleaned their house, with extraordinarily uncomfortable consequences... but stick some funny music over the top of it and it's a winner! :/ -

Registered 9 years agoI watched the first season. It had moments of goodness in the middle of the series (mostly involving Fet and the older vampire hunter), but mostly it was pretty terrible. -
Second episode of 'Remember Me' is on at the moment. Rather good. -
I am watching Robot Wars. How old is this again?
I used to fancy Phillipa Forrester. -

Does it still have the theme tune? Best theme tune of them all, I reckon.

Last I heard, yes indeed it does. But usually I only find out Ski Sunday is on when channel surfing on a bored Sunday afternoon, and switched off again today because I spotted Dalton Bond was on three as they announced the programme was over, but before the end titled aired.

So I can't confirm it's still got the old theme tune. But it did last series. -

Ah, Phillipa Forrester on one hand, Maggie Philbin on the other...that's what I'd call a good Ph balance.

These days it's Dr Alice Roberts' (include 'Dr' for the full fantasy wet-suited effect) Wild Swimming. -

Don't watch much TV but was staying at a friends and watched some things on 4OD and IPlayer and stuff. Toast of London was alright. I've heard people rave about it, but can't say it really did much for me. Really enjoyed Catastrophe though, which I hadn't heard of before. -

Registered 18 years agoCatastrophe caught me off guard, expected it to be poor but it is really good, great writing and cast.
Toast of London is funny, though it helps if you have seen a few as some episodes are far better than others. -

Registered 20 years agoI can't recall anything Matt Berry's ever done which isn't worth watching. Speaking of which, House of Fools is starting up again which, if you like Vic & Bob is classic stuff. -

Registered 20 years agoJust watching the rerun of the Grammys on c4. How can Sam Smith win a best newcomer award? The guy's been knocking about for ages - he's even in a BBC music promo for fuck's sake.
Also quite impressive from Madge there. -

Registered 20 years agoDear God - WHY am I wasting my time watching Gordon Ramsay's 'Hotel Hell' show?
It's car crash telly to the max - so contrived and 'set-up' ('reality' TV in fakery shockah) - with each episode following exactly the same format of bombastic shittery.
Each show usually ends in Ramsay's team 'decorating' two rooms of the hotel that they've just slated - adding some scallops to the menu - before buggering off to the local Premier Inn.
Researching a few of these hotels (yes, I have too much time on my hands) shows that a good chunk of them revert back to what they were doing before the wrinkled overlord turned up at their establishment - whilst a few of them have had to close down completely.
What is it with the US giving our bottom feeders their own shows?

ITV. Only Jeremey Kyle could make me feel empathy with the scammers he is trying to expose. -

Registered 9 years agoThought I'd put a Public Service Announcement in here to get more people watching Banshee.
If you like loud, pulpy action films and can appreciate a well-crafted action or fight scene, then you need to watch Banshee. Full stop. Get the DVDs, watch it on Netflix or whatever... just watch it. Watch it watch it watch it again and again. It's absolutely great stuff.
And there's boobs too, if that's more your thing. ;p -
