I have a new idea for a service. I am playing Deus Ex: HR at the moment, but TBH I'd rather instruct someone else what to do while watching the screen as I am feeling particularly tired today. Unfortunately that really doesn't seem possible.

Would this work? You hire someone to come in, play the game as you direct. It would be just like the other stuff like dog walking or cleaning services. A total luxury. Is it a goer or a bit mad? I am unsure. Dragon's Den?

You need locking up for your own safety.

And for that reason.... ahm oot.

I'm sure the dragon with the massive shoulder pads who made her money from trading in pallets would absolutely love the idea, simply because she wouldn't know what you're talking about, but she likes you.

You could probably get this as an extra from a local escort

What you're saying is you're too lazy to play video games?

Have you heard of watching the telly?

Might be better if you could just do it online and people could pay to play your game that you bought, sort of like renting it using microtransaction type prices allowing them to play much cheaper, and you could tell them what to do and where to go. I can't believe no-one has ever thought of this before.

No-one has thought of it before because it's stupid.

Surely if you're directing them all you're cutting out is the movement of your own thumbs?

All the mental work (which is the main pain in the ass bit of playing games when you're tired) is still there if you're telling the guy what to do. Not that playing games is difficult mentally or anything, but you know what I mean.

Man, I thought you were offering to do *my* household chores so *I* could game.

This thread is full of disappointment.

As someone has said it's the mental bit of playing a game that one is simply too tired to do sometimes. I think your idea is flawed. You haven't thought this through have you? What's your bottom line? How much profit will you make in year one? For that reason I too, am out.

Also. Your idea may be better if you would meet me at a hotel of my choice. Come into the darkened room, take off your clothes and begin to play super mario brothers on all fours.
