Hello! Since I know some of you don't examine in the homepage in meticulous detail every 10 seconds (it's fine - sniff), I thought I'd nudge you in the direction of this in case you're coming to the Expo this week and fancy winning some awesome free stuff.

Expo: Win a €10,000 Uncharted 3 Treasure Hunt & PlayStation Vita plus launch line-up!

As the boldy link aggressively points out, Sony has lined up a pretty cool Uncharted 3 competition to start off with. Here's the blurb from the official Facebook page:

From Thursday, PlayStation Access will be giving attendees of the Eurogamer Expo the chance to take part in the ultimate, all action, adventure competition as part of the forthcoming release of Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception on November 2nd. Expo guests will be given the chance to win a trip for two to Jordan, the dramatic backdrop from the game, where the winner will participate in a real-life adventure with players from across Europe and the US to win the title of Uncharted: Treasure Hunter and prizes worth €10,000.

The action-packed quest will take place in the Arabian Desert, following in the footsteps of Nathan Drake, the hero of the Uncharted series, as he picks up the trail of Sir Francis Drake and T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Starting from base camp, a traditional Bedouin settlement in Wadi Rum, competitors will trek across the sand dunes of Aqaba on a quest to uncover hidden treasure. Travelling by jeep, by camel and on foot, the fortune hunters will follow a series of clues to uncover hidden artefacts, picking up treasure that they can keep for themselves along the way. They will climb up to the Al Shallaleh waterfall, pass the Khazali Canyon and stop off at T.E. Lawrence’s house, facing a different challenge at every turn. The puzzles and challenges have been created by adventurer and survival expert, John Sullivan, whose experience has made him an invaluable adviser on many expeditions worldwide in some of the most inaccessible corners of the globe. A guest can go along for the ride but the winner will have to face all challenges alone.

PlayStation access will have 64 competitor places each day of the Eurogamer Expo who will battle it out in an 8 player Free for all Deathmatch on Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The 8 winners will go through to a semi final at the end of each day, with one winner from each day going through to compete in a 4 player grand final on Sunday to be in with the chance to win the ultimate prize.

When you arrive at Eurogamer, head straight to the PlayStation Access area for your chance to compete. Places are limited so make sure you sign up early to ensure you don't miss out!

Absolutely get stuck in. Not only that, but if you're coming to the Expo on Thursday you can win a PlayStation Vita plus the entire games launch line-up when it comes out next year. All you have to do for that one is turn up to Michael Denny's (Sony Worldwide Studios VP) Developer Session at 12pm and be in the audience. One attendee will be plucked at random to receive the prize, or something like that.

Don't worry if you can't make it on Thursday though - we've got tons of other competitions and stuff running throughout the Expo. Plus, if you're coming on Friday you can troop along and abuse me and other Eurogamer staff at the "Ask Eurogamer" session. Highlights last year included Rupert being rude about France.

See you at the Expo! Probably!

    Good stuff!

There an erroneous "in" the OP, however. What do I win for noticing that?
