IP4 vs 4S speed comparison. It's certainly nippier, although arguably it's only the browser rendering speed that raises an eyebrow. -

I can't really fathom the IP4 -> 4S comparisons. The product slate is for people upgrading from a 3/GS, or something completely different.
HTC have brought out several different versions of their Wildfire & Desire ranges to cannibalise consumers and no one batted an eyelid. -

Registered 15 years agoI took my 4s back today. Only because carphone warehouse fucked up my contract. I must say I'm not really missing it. All I've noticed is the browser not being as snappy.
Think I'm going to keep the 4 for the moment -

Ouch! If I leave 3G on in my house I don't receive calls.
May be a mistake or there's some clever* auto switching going on though.

It'll be because Siri requires a server connection, no?. The 4s does have a better battery but I can't imagine it will stop you have having to recharge every day or two.
3G blocks your calls? that's bizarre :S -

Registered 18 years agoNah, I just can't get a signal and it vacillates between edge and 3G, failing at both. Fine if I switch 3G off though. More to do with crappy O2 than my phone methinks. -

Registered 17 years agoYeah, the camera's great, & Siri works surprisingly well with my geordie accent, although i can't see me using it other than to maybe tell it what song to play next. Nice upgrade from my trusty 3gs, but if i had a 4 i wouldn't have bothered. -

Registered 14 years agoSiri doesn't work for me most of the time. Funnily enough just now it wouldn't recognise any commands or would not be able to connect to the network, however it did recognise my 'you're useless' comment to which it said 'if you insist'.
Anyhow, I need recommendations for a case. Want one that covers the back too and is slim and preferably a soft case. -

Registered 15 years agoGrab some of those front and back clear screen protectors - not much more than a couple of quid. Then grab one of those Apple Bumpers. I think you can get those on eBay too.
That's how I've got mine and having used full cover before it offers great protection and keeps the slim feel of the phone there.

Why not order online? You'll still probably get it quicker than having to wait for shops to restock. Plus with Quidco you can save a few extra quid.
Anyone else prefer the white 4S? Looks gorgeous imo, only problem is it's flashier and thus will be even more of a thief magnet than the black one. -
