Registered 7 years agoPrime would be nice. Hopefully it's decent. I'm not even bothered about the ending as it's far from Kings worst endings. Good cast, as has been mentioned. -

Registered 15 years agoCBS usually dumps straight onto Netflix here, so maybe it will drop on there.
That said, HBO stuff usually drops straight onto sky but there’s still no date for raised by wolves, so maybe not. -

Registered 17 years agoMarilyn Manson's role has been cut - he was to be The Kid, who only appeared in a flashback in the original, but was padded out in the extended edition.

Registered 9 years agoI'm not happy clappy chappy about The Kid being cut. Though I don't know that the book really needed (book spoiler follows) anal rape with a pistol.

WOuld love a modern take on it and probably would understand and enjoy it more now when I'm an adult.

Registered 17 years agoI'm hoping this will be better than the last effort, although the book remains one of my favourite of King's.

...yeah, you're probably right.
It's a shame the Dark Tower TV show got cancelled, I would have liked to see a Kingiverse. -

The Outsider was goodish but oh my it draaaaagged in the middle. They could've dropped two episodes and made it much tighter. -

Registered 14 years agoSalem's Lot was a TV miniseries (or special event or whatever they called it) as well. Not the remake, which was naff, but the decentish Hooper one. -

It got quite good reviews which is why I watched it but I remember it being awful. Just incredibly drawn out and boring until the last episode when something almost exciting happened.
