I had acupuncture for a frozen shoulder, to my amazement and despite my scepticism it was very effective.
I've thought about acupuncture if I can't get it sorted by other means. I'd rather not take painillers and I can't really afford to rest it too much as I need a lot of mobility for work (which is what set it off)
I've been to an acupuncturist a few times for my back and beck and found them useful. However some a better than others. -

Is there anyone in the office who'd actually give you a wank? You know, make it all legal and above board, so to speak?
In the office? Might solve one problem and give me a whole bunch of others. -

Registered 15 years agoThis morning I made an appointment with my GP for when I'm back home at Xmas, for a general check-up. Something he advised me to have done, when I was last home a few months ago. He mentioned blood and urine tests, but I do believe it will also involve a prostate exam :{ -

I had this a few months ago. I think I posted on here about it. Freaked me out a bit. Apparently you're supposed to seek medical attention if you experience visual disturbances, but I didn't. I don't get migraines normally, but I had a hell of a headache afterwords and the symptoms seemed to mirror a migraine aura.
Not exactly feeling brave, but just lost the eyesight in the bottom of my left eye, when it suddenly went grey.
I think its a migraine and my eyesight is restored but its left me a bit shaken. Think I've maybe been overdoing the stress of late, so I think I need to find a way to calm the hell down. Also need to buy some aspirin.
Scary stuff, though. Take care. -

Registered 15 years agoHuh. I had a similar thing yesterday, along with absolute agony behind my right eye. I wrote it off as a migraine and just dosed up. :l -
i had that a few years ago
i was working 12 hour days 7 days a week and one working lunch my eyesight started to go, the screen got blurrier and blurrier, i panicked and went to get the number of a local optician as i didn't know who to see but couldn't read the number so had to get someone else to dial it for me.
got sent to the eye doctor in the end and after a four hour wait got told it was a migrane

I've had that done. Best way to take your mind off it is to start whacking one out as his fingers go in.

Really? I get a migrane about once a year and it is hell. Full aura, loss of vision, sickness, the works. Puts me out of action for a whole day easily.
Went to the doctor after my last one which was really bad.
She gave me a pamphlet to read. I asked if there was anything else to be done she said no. I didn't feel great on the way out tbh.
But then that practice is utter shite so I shouldn't have expected more.
