Tramadol is nice but nothing beats the feeling of having too much morphine. A few years back I was back home from hospital after a bout of bad kidney stones and was prescribed a small bottle of morphine and I basically had to measure how much I took so in a week's time it could be switched to tablet form. Long story short I took a rather large guzzle and 10 mins later was hanging off my sofa dribbling and feeling rather great. Wife laughed and left the room.

Interviewed this morning with sciatica and a fog of pain relief(don't think it went well) to an empty house. Tramadol party round at mine!
It's such fun to discover a new and relaxing and not at all addictive new hobby. -

Toothache. I rarely get it but at the moment I feel like headbutting someone. Face is a bit swollen and I've a headache. Kidney stone pain is bad but my codeine gets rid of that when it needs to. I can't seem to ease the pain for this at the moment.
FUCK TOOTHACHE

Registered 16 years agoSo my gut is still not quite right. Been housebound with the shits since last Wednesday AGAIN. No pain this time thank fuck. Still irritating, missed going to the athletics, the football and Eastbourne this weekend
No longer sure its a bug, the kids haven't caught it nor has the mrs. Think maybe I've possibly developed a food intolerance maybe, but i haven't been eating anything out of my ordinary...
Going for some blood tests on Thursday, will see what they say.
heh I've always laughed at people with food intolerances in a nelson from the simpsons kind of way.
HA HA.

When i had one last year, they accidentally poked a hole in me Eosophagus and i was nil by mouth in hospital for a week, had a 10% chance of kicking the bucket!
Just in case i don't make it back, take care all. -
@THFourteen
Any news on your woes mate?
Bumping this for my own brave soldier needs. Had a big toenail removed last Friday. Surprisingly didn't really bother me that much afterwards, until my wife caught it and then the dog jumped on it. It's now a bit tender.

Though if you're there already stopping suddenly could cause fits and death, so advice still holds. -

Registered 13 years agoI managed to take a good chomp out of my tongue eating pizza last weekend. Yes, I know it is pretty much the easiest food to eat. I don't really know how I did it either, beyond drinking beer and chatting too much whilst chewing!
It stopped bleeding after a while, but is still a little bit sore.
Poor me. -

You definitely don't sound up for anniversary malarkey. May I suggest a copious amount of morphine and football in bed.

Registered 16 years agoMy wife was a Brave Little Soldier after a fucking dog bit her arm last night. She was walking home from the station, walked past a three people and a dog (large) which leapt up and clamped its teeth around her arm, biting her and drawing blood. Fucking thing was clamped on until the owner pulled it away saying “He doesn’t like bags!!!”
I’m going to see them this morning. Fucking creature should be muzzled or put down. I don’t care which.
My wife’s 8 months pregnant and I have a two year old who walks past their house most days carrying her own bag.
Shit dog owners should be fucking burnt on a fire. -

Registered 18 years agoChrist. Did she get a tetanus shot? Sounds like it should definitely be muzzled.
I think I'm going to malinger this morning, then drag myself out of my pit to watch my son in a carnival. I am going to locate myself next to the pub. -

Registered 16 years agoShe’d had a tetanus shout as part of the pregnancy jabs. She was just in shock when she got home, which I can understand. Big fucking dog too - about waist height.
Muzzling sound like the best plan. I’m going to offer them that as one option and reporting it (and them) as the other. -
Think that's probably right, and fair play to you for having the balls to go round. I'd have just called the police I think.
