Is there an iPod dock which has an alarm clock that can play the music on your iPod?

Once again, I rely on the EG Hivemind. Is anyone aware of such a device like the one in the title? I saw this one but I'm not sure if the alarm can use the iPod's music?

    Many thanks!

Edit: Just realised my question might be a bit confusing. I want the alarm clock part of the device to play music in particular.

I would assume so, but would it not likely be just using the iPod's speakers? I imagine interfacing with hundreds of devices to use their speakers might be a bit of a challenge, although I may have the wrong idea about how it works. I'll give iTunes a glance, ta.

    Yes. I have this.

Works a treat for my iPhone. Works with an iPod also. You can have 2 different alarms too, a week day and a weekend one. Just leave your radio app on stopped, and it will switch on in the morning. Or your ipod. Or an alarm. Whichever you prefer. Also has a built -in radio, and you can connect other devices too. Good sound as well.

Awesome, cheers Greggywocky! :) That looks a treat.

Just to double check though, not all iPod docks will do this? Or will any iPod dock play the sound coming from the device regardless? In any case, cheers :)

As far as I'm aware it's any ipod - it's certainly the standard 3GS/ipod dock that's used. And the clock's been around since 2008. I've only ever used my 3GS though. Never had a problem. Might be worth reading some of the reviews, though I think it's fine.

Though - beware! As it mentions in the manufacturer's description - an iPhone is NOT INCLUDED with this product. :)
