Registered 15 years agoI like Brendan. He's a real pro. Either him or the young lad with glasses and I'll be happy. I think John is now well out of his league. Plus he is annoying because he acts like he read a 'How to be Camp' book. -

Registered 17 years agoI keep telling my missus to apply for this show as I think she can do 'a good bake'.
Here's the cake she made for our daughter's birthday.
She also does a mean pistachio macaroon, but they're only for me so keep your hands off. -

Mine too. She tried some other types, but they seemed to work best.
I love it when she does a batch. I just need to go out running a bit more after having a few.
On topic, I want James to win. He's more expermental and I love his massive failure/huge success with no apparent middle ground style.

Have a look on a few pages back - we're gonna build gingerbread structures, take photos and see who "wins".
Seeing as Xmas is coming, the main aim is too simply enjoy ginger goodness and spend quality time with friends and family around a shared activity. -
I've got a REALLY good idea for my gingerbread structure however it could be a bit too tricky to pull off.

I was originally thinking of famous landmarks etc. to reconstruct but then had a brainwave.
The main trick to my idea is creating a perfectly spherical gingerbread structure to then adhorn with decorations. -
Also, I'm nominating sport to create the new thread with guidelines etc. for the "competition".
Perhaps we can get Venatio to put up some prizes for the best efforts -
