Er, btw, I in the meantime realised I have confused Shox with Rally Fusion. Shame on me, with only those two Rally games on the market. |

gamecube rgb cable - £8 (-20% off) - (i think rf lead is same price)
I've touched on this before but I got a Game RGB Scart lead (£8!) with my new PS2 last week and bugger me if it didn't like 60hz (Burnout2 and VF4 in b/w). Took it back and got a lovely gold plated Logic 3 one from Argos (£6!) and it's all good now, 60hz and nice and sharp. Now I'm suspicious of my GC Game RGB lead (have whinged about the picture elsewhere here before) so ordered one from Logic 3 (just to be consistant and safe). What's up with that Game PS2 lead then? If it goes into b/w then surely it's not a true RGB cable, just a botched composite - and the Logic 3's picture is alot sharper - I think we should be told! Anyone else had this?
those were all prices for the official products, so thats £6.40 for the official rgb cable which i took advantage of and its great. go and buy one immediatley! -

Registered 18 years agoA friend bought 2 unofficial GameCube controllers recently from Tesco for £3 each, but returned them due to the buttons being too solid ie difficult to push down. Still, might want to have a look-see if you don't mind that. -

For any of the Irish readers: Xtra Vision are doing some great deals on PS2 and Cube games at the moment, worth checking out...
I'll be sure to check it out. The only thing i bought in the sales so far is Ring from play, which I might still hasn't arrived, they are usually pretty good though so I'll let them away it this time. -

Hmm... I see Play have added quite a few things to their sale!
The PS2 version of SCT is £17.99 as well, and that's only been out a short while.
Red Dead Revolver for PS2 is £17.99, as is the GTA double-pack, Hitman Contracts, and a good bundle of other stuff.

Registered 19 years agoSpeaking of bargains, I checked out WHSmith after the heads up a few days ago. I guess it varies from store to store, but there are some excellent buys to be had. I picked up Republic (PC) for a fiver, foolishly snubbed Grim Fandango (5.99) and considered In Memoriam(sic), also five pounds. Okay console discounts as well. -

theres a reasonably good 2 for £20 on play.com at the moment
makes me wish I was a bit later into this console owning game, less than £100 for a console with games as good as Timesplitters 2, Vice City and Rainbow Six 3 for a tenner each. -

Registered 19 years agoYeah, I ordered Star Ocean on Weds too and it arrived yesterday - round of applause to Game for shipping it so quickly. I'm starting to get pissed off with Amazon who took until Thursday to ship (never mind deliver) a pre-ordered DVD that was released on Monday.
So no one saw what yesterday's offer was? Ah well, maybe it's for the best that I don't know what I missed. -
