WRC 9 is currently 3 quid in the xbox store, which seems like a bit of a steal.
Picked it up last night. -

What’s really fucking me off is that I want this on PS5 due to the haptics, but it’s 50 fucking sheets on there still.

Registered 13 years agoI suspect the Series controllers do quite a lot of the same feedback - they've got reasonably sophisticated rumble systems, if not quite like the Dualsense. Worth a punt for £3, it's a really good game. -

I know, but I can honestly say that the Dualsense is leagues ahead in terms of haptics and trigger guff than my Series controller..the granularity of the haptics is quite extraordinary..and this coming from someone who was just gonna stick with XBox this time around.

I should get it for £3, I know, but I'm trying to be a good boy and stop duplicate games on the consoles now. -

Registered 16 years agoWRC has the amazing gear shift effect alone that no other gamepad can do, the triggers are great but need getting used to at first.

Registered 11 years agoWRC 9 has some of the best wheel feedback I've experienced on console too. It's easily my favourite use of the Fanatec sequential shifter/handbrake combo on my Series X - you feel like an utter god when you get a hairpin right. -

Registered 8 years agoYou bastards just made me buy a rally game for £3. I've never played a rally game in my life. Price of a sandwich though. I'm only human. -

Registered 16 years agoWRC9 is a good game and an even better tool for destroying Dualsense controllers with all the funky haptics stuff.
Definitely worth it at £3, especially as Sony are replacing the controllers free for now. -

Registered 8 years agoDidn't know I needed a rally game in my life, but it's excellent. Even on the One, the controller feedback is great. -

I thought this wasn't available for the Xbox one? I tried to download it at the £3 price and it seemed to throw a wobbly.

Registered 8 years agoI bought it easily enough? Installed as per normal and runs fine. Are you buying it through the console or a browser?

Registered 17 years agoWell I just bought it via the Microsoft website, says it's auto installing on both our (Xbox One) consoles, except I know for a fact our main console is at full capacity. I'll see what's gone on when I get home ... -

Registered 15 years agoValkyria Revolution appears to be free on PSN. Not advertised at all, I was just able to add it to my library ok. Although judging by reviews, especially Eurogamers, maybe I shouldn't have. -

Registered 15 years agoHaha, yeah, same. I saw it on HUKD, thought "Misprice!" and quickly bagged it, then read the reviews.
Maybe I'll just hide it in the library and forget I ever saw it!

Registered 15 years agoJust missed it it seems as the game is now entirely missing from the store. The one Valkyria game I never planned to buy ever but I would have checked it out for free.
