does anyone know anything that will reduce noise of my ps3?model is 60 gb fat.i have seen various thing on ebay etc do any work?it also an issue on my old xbox which is very loud compared to my elite xbox

Dunno if it will help with noise but if you hold the eject button when it's turned off it can blow out all the dust in your machine.

lol i cant afford a new console!!not atm anyway is the stuff on ebay a con?dont wanna get scammed.also i prefer the fat ps3 to the slim its a launch model

ylod fix. If you dare to perform some surgery on it, here's something I did with mine. As the ps3 isn't dead yet you can skip the reflowing part and only replace the thermal paste.

lol not sure i trust myself with diy on my consoles.you would think there would be something that works product wise even like a 30% improvement would be nice.you really notice a big difference between the elite and ps3 fat which sounds like a jet engine in comparison. i know they were released years apart but still

yeah but my ps3 has been loud for years hopefully plenty of life in the big porker yet*touches wood blesses ps3*
