I'm in the weird situation that my little boy absolutely loves early Michael Jackson songs. Like thats all he wants on.

Yup. As ever thereís a tricky Ďcan you separate the art from the artistí thing. And also recognising the incredibly sad childhood he had where he himself was abused, no doubt resulting in him becoming an abuser.

This stuff is complex and needs to be recognised as such.

It's going to be interesting watching that. I do love Jackson's music but have always been on the fence with the accusations. My missus though is an uber fan and will defend him to the hilt.

I think I'm going to enjoy watching it with her while she freaks out.

Innocent people tend not to ruin themselves by paying $20m of hush money to accusers.

We used to live next door to a borderline insane Michael Jackson fan who would bring him up in almost every conversation we had with her. We stopped out daughter playing with her daughter after she pointed to a poster of him on her bedroom wall and said 'thats Michael Jackson. He's watching down on us from heaven'.

I mean, what the fuck, man? What are you teaching your kids? And she will be by no means the biggest lunatic out there.

But, yeah, we don't tend to play his music. Thriller at Halloween and that's about it. The wife will put on Bad every now and then, somewhat hypocritically, as she moans when I play this:

Michael Jackson is such a weird one. Deep down everyone, even his fans, must know he's a mega paedo, but no one really wants to acknowledge it or accept it as true.

Wasn't there a Daily Mail piece (urgh) a couple of years ago that detailed all the creepy/explicit stuff that was taken from his house by investigators?

He was accused of sexually assaulting Gavin Arvizo, a 13-year-old cancer survivor at the time of the search.
Trying that stuff while the authorities are searching your house is how you get caught.

Jordan however was able to perfectly describe Jackson's buttocks, pubic hair, and distinctive marks on both his testicles and penis.

The mark on the penis could only be seen if it was lifted and was otherwise not visible.
Having pretty distinctive junk isn't ideal for a rapist either...

This is true. So mfing funky, every track is great.

Off the Wall > Thriller > Bad.

I used to love him as a kid, had a duvet which was the Bad album cover and carried a tape recorder around with Thriller dubbed from a mates CD complete with half of the last track missing.
Huge peado obvs but it doesnít make me skip tracks when they come on. Does that make me a bad person?

Are those two on the same level as the MJ fiddling though?
Didnít Bowie just shag a few underage groupies and Jimmy Page (?) kinda the same? In no way condoning it like.

I think it's OK to listen to dead paedo music. If they're still living it's more of an endorsement, especially if you buy new material.

It'll be interesting to see how much old Wacko Jacko is erased from popular culture, especially if more victims come forward and his (alleged) paedoism starts to seem undeniable. Obviously Gary Glitter has been more or less removed, but Jackson was one of the biggest stars ever and his music and image are still everywhere.

But Michael Jackson had these accusations following him around since 1993, then 2005 was more revelations, so I don't see why a documentary in 2019 would suddenly start his removal from popular culture. There have been several very damning documentaries with former staff made already.

Unless Caulkin himself comes out and admits MJ fiddled him (something he's always denied), MJ's legacy will never be totally diminished.

It's almost impossible to remove him from public consciousness, he basically ascended artist levels to become some kind of Mass Effect Shephard of music.

    THIS IS SHOCKING NEWS.

Apologies for the glib comment, not making light of rape, the guy is a scumbag and I'm amazed how he still gets work.
Just thought I'd bring this back, as we're quick to label guys as rapists but keep quiet when it all falls to pieces.

Apparently after threatening to sue the girl, the girl came out on social media and relented on our accusations of rape, apologising and said they did have sex but after couldn't remember if she did give verbal consent so decided that maybe it was "rape".

Has since used the whole incident to promote herself on Instagram and is now boasting about it all.

Well if you thought CB was a dirtbag, just know this witch is worse. I hope he sues her pants off then NOT rape her again

I don't think it needs to be one or the other in terms of cuntishness. It's perfectly possible for everyone involved in a situation to be a terrible human being, simultaneously.

Glancing at this I only spotted "brown-is-selling-t-shirts" in the link and thought your comment was an excellent shot at Bobby Brown. But it wasn't so never mind.
