Surprised she hasn't accidentally fallen out a window already.

I'd love to see the whole thing exposed before that happens.

I'm amazed she was residing in the US and wasn't living somewhere with no extradition treaty with the US. Not that there's too many plush countries like that.

I'm pretty sure France has an extradition treaty. It's generally Africa, some in Asia & the Middle East and Russia that don't.

France won't extradite French citizens, unless something major has changed.

Press conference on about the charges now. Streaming on youtube. First thing they've said of interest is that this is looking at the time period before 2002-2005 that Epstein was charged for. Going back as far as 1994. Some sweaty princes right about now.

Edit: Now they've said some of the abuse took place in London. Surely there will have to be some investigation / statement from the UK police now?

I give it two to three weeks before she trips over and strangles herself in her locked cell.

You’d think what happened to Epstein would mean she’d be in as much of a hurry as possible to cut that deal. Suspect there are some extremely unsweaty people out there right now (joke stolen).

Upcoming plea deal with minimal sentencing as long as she accuses Biden of being a pedo

Well Epstein was beyond being in a position to cut a deal, they can't always get away with it, guess we'll see. Be great to see a few others taken down in the process too.

Hmm, she does hold a French passport, as well as UK and US.

I wonder why she didn't do a runner to France? Maybe Epstein pissed off all the rich French nonces.

Pretty sure France has an extradition treaty with murika.

I wonder what method of suicide will be her preferred choice while the guards aren't looking and the cameras are turned off.

Why would William Barr / Bill Barr want to visit Ghislaine Maxwell in jail the day she is arrested? an Attorney General attempting to visit someone in jail? what does he have to hide?

Attorney General Bill Barr is a major threat to our legal system and to public trust in it. He does not believe in the central tenet of our system -- that no person is above the law -- and he has been working full time to confer extraordinary powers on the President that have no place in our system of government.

@DeadDeadpool Is there an actual source for this? Because all google turns up are a couple of unsourced tweets from randoms.

What I find a bit strange is how the FBI knew exactly where she was and hadn't arrested her until this random point. What has changed now?

Maybe she will drown in a bucket of water with two bullets to the head.

@Mr_Sleep Possibly just making sure they had the evidence lined up and were sure they were bringing the right charges? They could have nabbed her if she tried to leave the country - but if she was just staying put, they might as well take the time to get their process right, rather than rush it and risk having their case fall over.

@Mr_Sleep It's pretty normal to not arrest someone until enough evidence is seemingly available to charge them isn't it?

Epstein himself had no idea whatsoever he was going to be arrested, that's why so much damning evidence was found in the safe in his apartment and he knew 100% he wasn't gonna get out of prison. He offered his entire estate for bail but that was rejected.

I haven't been following this too closely but am I right in saying that Barr tried replacing the US attorney SDNY a couple weeks ago, and it was SDNY who brought charges against Maxwell, and Barr just tried visiting Maxwell in prison the day after she was arrested

And Barr has a history of association with Epstein.

Does this seem a bit suspicious to anyone else?

But Boris is funding bridge repairs there.
That bridge in Sandwell will save the economy of the whole UK.

they do, but not if it's their own citizens they're being asked to extradite.

He does post in a similar way and haven't seen the other guy in a while, so I'm assuming it's him.
