Here's the petition to vote for our late, great leader:

We believe that the 13th October, the anniversary of Margaret Thatcher's birth, should be declared a public holiday in Britain in respect of her vast contribution to this great nation.

11 sigs so far! Succumb to the inevitable and vote for her image on a bank note while you're at it:

I petition for a legal tender bank note to be commissioned which bears the image of Lady Thatcher's face. This is in recognition of the late, great Baroness Thatcher and all that she did for this country.

You know it's going to happen sooner or later.

I will support this name change provided we celebrate the holiday each year by publicly torturing and executing a member of her family.
We should do that regardless! :D

If they were propositioning an EXTRA Bank Holiday a year with her name on it, people would be all over it.

The US gets Martin Luther King day and we get Thatcher Day?

I wasn't dancing in the streets on the day of her death, but I know what kind of person whose life I'd rather celebrate.

She managed to fix some problems by making Britain a worse place in the long term. She seemed like a horrible cunt as a person too.

I understood it, but Scottish accents are right up there in terms of difficult English accents to understand. It's especially rough if English isn't your first language.

He possibly is, I don't know. Just saying that it's not easy to understand, and didn't see a need to be incredulous about it.

I wasn't incredulous about it being difficult but surprised at only understanding three words.
It can get much trickier than that!

It's pretty difficult (aside from the expletives), but tbh I don't understand more when someone speaks German in a strong coastal or Austrian dialect

We'd all be speaking German if it wasn't for Thatcher and the Dam Busters.
